2020 Presidential Race

Will this endear Harris even more to left since Gramps had white slaves.

Kinda makes you wonder if reparations would include original Georgians and all those people who fell under the title of "indentured servitude"? I'm guessing it will be a lot more racial than that ... those with ties to England, Ireland, Scotland, and Wales need not apply.

Hannity crushes Maddow as Fox News tops MSNBC, CNN for 70th Straight Quarter

Fox News has been the most-watched cable news network for 70 consecutive quarters after finishing the second quarter of 2019 ahead of MSNBC and struggling CNN in both total day and primetime viewers -- as Sean Hannity crushed Rachel Maddow's show in the 9 p.m. ET hour.

Fox News averaged 2.4 million primetime viewers to rank as the most-watched network in all of basic cable from 8-11 p.m. ET. MSNBC came in second place with an average of 1.7 million, while TNT, ESPN, and HGTV rounded out the top five.

The lowly CNN finished fifteenth, averaging only 761,000 primetime viewers and finishing behind channels such as Discovery and the Food Network.

Fox News was the only basic cable network to average more than one million total-day viewers, finishing with 1.3 million to win the category for the 12th straight quarter. MSNBC finished second with 900,000, followed by HGTV, Nickelodeon and Investigation Discovery. CNN averaged only 525,000 to finish eighth overall.

“Hannity” finished the quarter as the most-watched show in cable news, averaging 3.2 million viewers, while Maddow averaged 2.5 million to finish in third place.

“Tucker Carlson Tonight” finished in second with 2.8 million viewers. “The Ingraham Angle” and “The Five” rounded out the top five.

Meanwhile, the most-watched show on struggling CNN was “Cuomo Prime Time,” which finished No. 25.

CNN’s most popular show averaged only 910,000 viewers, as 14 Fox News programs and 10 MSNBC programs attracted larger audiences.

Fox News has now topped both MSNBC and CNN for 45-straight quarters among the primetime demo. Other key Q2 takeaways include “Fox & Friends” averaging 1.4 million viewers to finish as the most-watched cable news morning show for the 70th straight quarter and “The Greg Gutfeld Show” beating CNN and MSNBC combined in its timeslot.

MSNBC's Joe Scarborough blasts 'Woke Democrats' in fiery tweetstorm: You'll 'lose another election to Trump'

MSNBC's anti-Trump morning show star Joe Scarborough turned the tables on Tuesday and slammed the 2020 Democrats for embracing "woke" positions, insisting that will lead them to "lose another election" to President Trump.

The tweetstorm began with Scarborough reacting to the news that Nike was pulling their shoes inspired by the Betsy Ross-designed American flag after former NFL quarterback Colin Kaepernick expressed his opposition to the design, which he thought invoked slavery.

"The Betsy Ross flag is now a symbol of White Nationalism and slavery? Not defiance against a distant monarchy? Really, Nike?" Scarborough asked. "PC madness is accelerating just in time for 2020. Trump feeds on your reflexive Wokeness. Great job, everybody."

The "Morning Joe" co-host then pivoted to the Democratic candidates and reiterated the stances at last week's debates, saying they support "universal health care for illegal immigrants," "making illegal crossing America's borders legal," and "a return to forced busing" and asking them if they "now support the banning of the Betsy Ross flag from public places."

"Let me disabuse Woke Democrats of the notion that I expect them to adjust their beliefs and strategies to suit former Republicans. I don't," Scarborough continued. "But I do want them to refrain from blowing themselves up politically and re-electing Trump... But y'all be y'all and lose another election to Trump that you should have won. And start by continuing to fight those who want him beaten just as badly."

Castro is the only one who qualifies as not pandering by speaking Spanish.

Booker and the Irish guy were pandering. It's just like Harris being part black from her Jamaican father but she's not African American. Her Jamaican family lineage were slave owners, not slaves in the US.

Or Hillary with her hot sauce. Or her “I don’t feel no ways tired” charade.

That is actually a Fox News article, touting Fox News's ratings ... talk about blowing your own horn. That is a little unusual and quite frankly, not very professional. Most networks would leave that up to a third party, who they are friendly with (such as The Daily Caller, in the case of Fox News).

...but anyway, it's no secret that Fox News has less competition for their target audience (conservatives with an interest in political propaganda) than MSNBC does (liberals with an interest in political propaganda). MSNBC's competition for viewers is not Fox News, it is CNN. Keeping that in mind, MSNBC is still doing quite well. Rachel Maddow's ratings may have dropped since last year, but she is still #3 in the prime time cable news ratings... she is not doing poorly at all. Her competition for viewers is not Sean Hannity, it is Andrew Cuomo of CNN's show "Cuomo Prime Time" and she always beats him.

If Fox News went off the air, the number of viewers for MSNBC and CNN wouldn't change at all (although, their percentage of the ratings share would go up). They represent a completely different segment of the viewing audience.

Problems arise when you give your heart more weight than your head. The heart is far more easily fooled.

You have to remember logic isn't big in libs; their thought processes have progressively atrophied.

Uh, is it just me or does Gropin' Joe look kinda orange-ish in that clip?

Every democrat that raised their hand in the debate that they would fund medical care for illegals is finished. They have no chance with that kind of stance. None.

They actually were asked if their plans would provide coverage for undocumented immigrants. Im not sure if being an undocumented immigrant is a disqualification for obtaining coverage currently. I know this is a popular talking point, and is often characterized as they all said they would provide free healthcare,

Yes, it’s a disqualification although an emergency room can’t legally turn away any individual, citizen or not. But to take taxpayer money to provide free medical care to non-citizens who broke the law with their very existence in America while American veterans are struggling to get adequate care is beyond insane.

It would be insane, If it were stated simply as free medical care. I'm guessing the explanations from this point will have to explain what "provide coverage" means.
