'20 TX QB Haynes King (TAMU Commit)

I’m sure that has a lot to do with the fact that it’s been called the elite 11 for 20+ years or however long. I’m sure in the beginning there were only 11 which prompted the name. It’s become such a big name that they’ll never change it no matter how they change the process.

time to change the name anyway.

Bailey has the experience edge in the 7v7 category. Not worried about that.
But he also had a bad first day from what I’ve read and they are judged overall. Proper drops, reads, mechanics, accuracy and overall performance throughout the camp. Just saying no matter how he finishes the rest of the camp don’t be surprised to see him finish 5 or below because of that first day.

He is already at 4. GBO!

That’s good. But you’d have to experience it to understand. A lot of politics surround it as well. Even More so at the opening. He could be 4th today and look the best but drop to 7th or even out of the 11 by tomorrow morning. This thing is finicky.

Already dinged him once from his bad day 1, only realistic that we claim double jeopardy here and he is punished at the end again for day 1, because he’s a Vol. What am I missing here?

Same thing happened to our 2019 at the opening last season. He got dinged for a bad first day when the kid didn’t even play and somehow threw 2 ints. Can’t explain that one either.

Just tired of this thread. Gonna put it on ignore, but wanted to throw in my boom before I go

I would tell you the same. TL threw 3 tds. He was good. What you don’t realize is I’m not debating his abilities as a qb for Clemson. I’m debating his overall rating out of HS and his abilities as a qb had he came to UT. A generational player is a game changer and he wouldn’t have changed much at UT if he has trouble throwing under pressure. Not a skill one would expect the highest rated qb in 247 history to lack. So I tell you the same. You should rewatch the title game and pay attention to the FEW times he was pressured. Come back and remind us how it went for those that seem to have such a short memory or those that think my opinion holds no weight.

The kid came in under enormous pressure and performed. That pressure is far more than any of the Tennessee QBs have played under by far. Great players make everyone better it’s no secret. A good example of this is Patterson at UT the run game was terrible but yet when he had the ball he scored. The chances are really high had he come to UT it would have been night and day.

A&M mod said a rising showing from Bailey could deter King from us. Helluva catch 22
