^^That’s what I wind up with sometimes when I try to post an image USING EXACTLY THE SAME METHOD AS LAST TIME BUT NOW IT DOESN’T WORK!!!!!

Pruitt has done an excellent job this off season. Last off season he did nothing that bothered me, but he did say some things that got some here all twisted, like calling out the fans for not attending the spring game. As far as Im concerned he couldn't have done much better. I believe one way of many hes different from Butch is learning from his mistakes. We'll see.

With that and his background I just don't see him not doing well. I just don't. Obviously I could be wrong, but it seems all the right peices to the puzzle are being put together. I am most excited to see how Ansley does with the defense. Then obviously Chaney and how JG has improved under him and Weinke.

I'm genuinely excited more than I've been in a long time. It's a different excitement from the 16 preseason. I have more confidence in Pruitt right now than I ever did Butch. I'd bet money if Pruitt beat Florida and Georgia, he murders SC and Vandy.

Of course, This is just my opinion.

I think we win a game, maybe two, that we shouldn’t. I also think we lose a game, maybe two that we shouldn’t. I’m with Behr that I have more confidence in Pruitt than I ever did in Butch. The problem for Pruitt is that while we were floundering around with Dools and Butch, the rest of the East finally got their acts together, and now Pruitt is behind the eight ball. If Butch or Dools had gotten it right, Tennessee would’ve vaulted to top of the East with a blink of the eye. Now Pruitt has to get it right just to contend with Georgia and Florida.

And there's the reason we need football season to get here. Bill nor myself didn't say anything that hasn't already been said 100 times.

Didn't the last time we beat UF and UGA, we lost to both SC and Vandy? I know, different coaching staff, but yeah, you'd think if we beat the first two, we'd kill the others.

Yeah that was my point, I personally have confidence that Pruitt wouldn't let that happen.

I guess it's fair for you to say I probably had confidence in Butch not to let that happen, until it did. But Id argue I never thought about it.

Back before the 15 season me, Slice and Sly were talking about Butch. I said I saw Butch as an 8-4 with maybe a 9-3 season coach and never winning any type of championship. Slice and Sly agreed but said probably not that good.

Point is, none of the 3 of us had a whole lot of confidence in Butch and although I didn't see that coming, it's not like it was a total surprise either.

Jeremy may not be our "saviour", but I just don't get the feeling he'll let chit like that happen. He may never beat Florida while at TENNESSEE, but I bet he's lost to Vandy for the last time.
