How long should it take to get rid of it? I’ve been getting treatments since early March and doesn’t appear to be slowing down, much less going away.

It is variously called sedge grass or nut sedge or nut grass.

TruGreen has been treating my lawn since March. Most of my lawn looks great, but this is really pissing me off, lol. It stands out like a sore thumb only a day or 2 after mowing. I’m considering contacting TruGeen and ask them what the hell they’re doing.

It isn't the easiest thing to get rid of, but it can be done.

It is very difficult to get rid of yellow nut sedge. A mix of Sedgehammer and Dismiss seems to work best around Nashville. Dismiss can cause damage in temps above nintety. Both products will have to be applied 2-3 times to be effective. Probably for two years.
It will still survive sometimes. It likes wet soil so you can easily over water if you irrigate. One established it likes any soil and is a nightmare.

Worst weed ever.

TruGreen is spraying my yard too. Yard looks good but I’ll never use them again. I've never been as bombarded by upsell phone calls in my life.

Grad, I have found "Image" does a really good job also. Image® Kills Nutsedge

Also, if it is just here and there pull up by hand forget the poison. The OP will need some type of poison.
Are you using it on fescue? I was going to use it, but I think the lable says it will harm fescue. So will dismiss above 90 degrees.
It appears that the grass in the picture is a warm weather grass. Bermuda? Should work for him.

I paid for the entire year. Will not use them next year for the incessant up selling. They don’t only constantly call and upsell, they came by unscheduled and unannounced to upsell.

Exactly... It's awful. In the last 3 months they've tried to tell me I had mole crickets, ciccada damage, brown patch, compacted soil, mosquitoes, grubs, beetles.... Ive gotten to where I answer the phone just to laugh. I told a lady last week that it's too bad TrueGreen wasn't around for the Egyptians because based on what they keep telling my me, they can eliminate most of the plagues for $39.99 a month.

I guess I’ve been lucky. I‘ve used them for a couple of years and they haven’t tried to sell me anything. service has been okay. Nothing to write home about. At the time they were cheaper than the others I quoted and they haven‘t changes my rate.

It looks like some kind of turf type Hybrid Bermuda to me.
I figured some type of Bermuda But I wasn’t sure. I have some Bermuda patches in my front yard that drives me crazy. When the weather gets hot and dry it goes into overdrive.
