Trump Won't Promise Not to Run as an Independent
In the very first question of the night, Bret Baier asked the debaters for a show of hands from anyone who refused to pledge not to run as an independent against the eventual Republican nominee; a third-party candidate might split the conservative vote and hand the election to Clinton, said Baier. Only one candidate raised his hand.
Granted, Trump didn't say he wants to run independently; he just really wants to be president. But his response to question immediately made clear that in this debate, as on the campaign trail, he would be the belligerent center of attention. Despite audible boos in the arena, Trump fans were giddy with excitement:
Trump Is Terrible to Women
Host Megyn Kelly asked Trump about his previous insults of women. "You've called women you don't like fat pigs, dogs, slobs and disgusting animals." Trump cut her off to say "Only Rosie O'Donnell."
Rosie was not amused.
Trump went on to lecture about how political correctness is our country's greatest problem, and ended by saying that at least he hasn't been as mean to Kelly as she maybe deserves.
There was applause from the audience. When the New Republic's Elspeth Reeve talked to Trump supporters last month, "many said this was the one thing they loved most about Trump, that he's not afraid to offend (people they don't like)." As Jeet Heer noted in the New Republic live blog, "He's not answering the questions, he's being rude. But the audience is eating it up."

He has no energy, he stutters around and has no idea what to say and there are many of them up there and they don't even have that much time to talk and he still failed. Even Booker has his eyes popped out, Harris has ever vein in her neck popped out, Buttplug has a sweat bead (at least I hope its sweat) on his upper lip and Bernie has his hands flying all over the place.

Where did anyone say free healthcare? The question was about prospective healthcare plans and coverage.

And attend public schools while not paying taxes.

Give us a national sales tax and abolish the income tax. That way everyone can contribute no matter if they are legal, illegals, tourists, criminals.

I work 7 days on 7 days off. During my 7 days I put in about 90 hours. 30 of those hours go to taxes. But Bernie wants me to pay more. I’m already working my ass off Bernie.

Yep, middle America ain't going to go for that.

I really wish that these people would be allowed to try and do this in some sort of initiative and the people who support it have to pay for it.... try to pay for it more like it......

Considering the current situation where education, infrastructure, veterans affairs and care, and mentally ill care can't even be taken care of and prioritized and made to fit into a budget, yeah, this idea is beyond unreal. Have at it if you are for it, and are willing to pay for it, or else, just don't ever mention this again.

Maybe they’re not radical for discussing policies largely in effect in other countries throughout the world. Maybe you’re just slow.


If all other developed countries support government health care and most Americans do as well, who is the radical?
