Just saw my dad! He is sitting up and alert. They have him on an oxygen mask as his lungs still need the help, but doc came by and said they hope to have him off that soon and if he comes off and does fine on his own, he will be moved out of ICU! He seems to be in good spirits after having a rough night last night. So glad he is progressing!

it is a baked potato with cheese and bacon bits -- though I prefer alot of butter and sour cream instead

amazing how fast recovery is in todays world -- my uncle was down for a month for the same operation back in the 80s
