It actually says more about the state of a subgroup of the American voting public than anything else.
I'm sure all of those candidates from last night have flaws, but I didn't watch a minute of the debate. (I was watching Vandy win the national championship)

Wrong. It says the most about a US government and political system that is so screwed up it bullies it's citizens into aniti-christ belief systems, and gives all their hard earned money to illegals. It drove them to vote for anything other than what they tried to get the media to shove down our throats. It was a rebellion. No sub-groups required.

Both sides have their fair share of gullible voters. For whatever reason, some of you seem to be in denial over this fact. It's not unique to Trump so let's stop pretending it is.

So, by your post, I'm guessing you haven't really looked into any of these candidates? Surprising given your Trump hatred. Are you just going to sit back and see who wins the primary then vote for them because they have a "D" next to their name?

Well, we have the better part of a year and a half. But if you have some favorites please share who and why you think so.

Of course both sides have gullible and ignorant voters. When they are split evenly they have no impact.
Trump was able to appeal to the gullible and ignorant and move it to a 70% to 30% split - a difference maker.

It is amazing how some of can be so manipulated by a person we've never met in person before and a person who has very little influence over our daily life.

I get it though. Used to feel the same when i was a hopeful idealist.
