LOL you guys believe every tweet you read?
You apparently didn't even read the whole tweet. Or the quote from Price above. You just saw a name and the word injury and made an assumption (made up a recovery time with absolutely no information other than half a headline). At least we believed the whole tweet and not just half of it.

Thanks. Funeral was a few days ago. My grandfather was very well known here. One of the cool things about small towns is how police officers shut down main roads and also give police escorts to the church. It was incredible to see the respect by the entire community. Almost surreal and something I'll never forget.
Sorry about your loss. Going to funeral home tonight lost a friend to ALS and only 50 yrs old. Sucks

The tweet only says “make a recovery by Fall camp” the extent is not detailed. My opinion is that if they were upset about this info getting out then it’s doubtful in my opinion that he’s 100% by kickoff.

9 wins I think.

Reading through these predictions, "you people" seem to be following a different tack this year and lowballing expectations. Never a bad idea but I think probably too low. You'll have a decided talent advantage against all but three teams on the schedule. You have a full roster, an SEC quality staff, and they've had two offseasons to get S&C up to par. Two new coordinators will mean some fine tuning is due, but given what teams like UK, VU, MSU have lost, and no P5 OOC games, I'd agree with the one above, 8 or 9 wins is a reasonable projection.

So you made up a recovery time with incomplete info based on a tweet. I'll go with what people with actual info, like Price, are saying. And as far as them upset it got out, that is all based on Jake saying Swain seemed upset about it. Not the coaches or player. So even yer reasoning is based on shaky "info" at best.

They're upset because the injury is not serious and publicizing it could potentially hurt his future value to an NFL team. They didnt want to give an opportunity for anyone to make assumptions about the severity of the injury, when it's not really going to be an issue for him moving forward.

You mean we don't have to cancel the season?

I shared an opinion is all. On a forum opinions should always be assumed unless otherwise stated.

I obviously hope he’s 100% in July but state run media will always lean to “all is well”.

Big fan of JJ...I like his attitude and the dog in him.

But if I'm entirely honest I think Callaway & Palmer both are better WRs. I also think WR is a group with a ton of talent and depth, especially if Gibbs is eligible.

I always thought Jennings would be an absolute head hunter used at safety.
