So what should be done about those illegal invaders in “concentration camps”? Who said something about keeping a born baby comfortable while the “mother” and doctor mull over ending it’s life? And who would’ve thought the American dream would come down to handing out reparations and normalizing mental illness?

You don't understand. They just want money ... no proof of anything ... just gimme the money.

I look at it all quite differently, of course. My take is that it is highly unlikely that any actual descendant of a slave (and current US citizen) would have been better off if that ancestor had not been taken from Africa in chains. Anyone who feels different is welcome to return to Africa and give life a try there ... in the region where slaves sent to this hemisphere originated.

I started disliking the Democratic party before I gave the Republican party a chance. And really, I am not a Republican. I have several conservative ideologies. I am a registered Democrat but consider myself an Independent. In recent years I have found myself voting for conservative candidates because the Democratic party has gone off the cliff. I have seen what democratic policies do and make communities worse. I have no doubt many democrats have a good heart but their policies are incredibly nieve and counterproductive. I can go on and on. If you do not like where the party is taking you vote against them and they will change. They think they can continue to feed you a $hit sandwich and you will continue to eat it. Personally I owe nobody my vote and it can't be bought. That in itself is liberating.

For the 7000th time, the late-term abortion bill you are talking about is if the life of the mother is at risk. That doesn't mean someone can just get an abortion at 38 weeks. Enough with the bs, state it accurately or don't at all.

Brother I thought the country was so far gone I didn't even vote, so I feel ya. It's good to have hope again that folks are gaining knowledge of the absolute and undeniable corruption in the "district " <--(for emphasis). I always believed what the constitution said that We the People are the boss and "they" work for us. Guess that got lost somewhere?

It's been a while since I read the bill, but if it's the one I'm thinking of, the wording left a broad interpretation as to whether it only applied when a mother's life was in danger. Personally, I think both sides are pushing the boundaries with their abortion/anti-abortion legislation, and probably doing it intentionally.

Every one of these laws I've read explicitly state if the mother's life is in danger. This idea that is going around that Democrats/liberals are waiting in medical offices looking to beat delivered babies to death for sport is one of the more absurd things to pop up during the last few months. The rhetoric changed a few months ago when the right started this current attack on Roe.
