A public messsage board etc. is cached by Google bots and the like. An email server is not. The whole idea that things can't be erased from the internet is ridiculous in the first place.. It's all dependent upon where and how the data is stored, who has access to the data, and how it is cached when it accessed.lol...
The total that Trump has subsidized the farming industry with during his prolonged trade war is obviously much more than that. That is just the latest amount. However, socialism is socialism regardless of the size of the subsidy and the average Trump supporter wouldn't know what socialism is, if it bit them in the butt. They just see it as a Trump trigger word and are not intelligent enough to realize that he is engaging in it himself.$16 billion is drop in bucket vs $3.2 trillion for healthcare
Like Biden and his asthma?Oh, my God. Did he sleep in a Holiday Inn Express last night too? ... That is not serving your country in the military. I can't believe you found that worthy of mentioning... and unlike Obama, Trump actively avoided service with his deferments during a time of war (including one for the very shady claim of bone spurs).
Farm subsidies have been going on for decades as you knowThe total that Trump has subsidized the farming industry with during his prolonged trade war is obviously much more than that. It's incredibly expensive everywhere. Pushing it from dollars out of pocket at the doctors to dollars out of your pocket on April 15th doesnt make it any cheaper. And it screws over people who dont need it.Our health care is incredibly expensive. Really fixing the system should save us money. We have to be big boys and stand up to insurance companies, though. The military budget has an enormous amount of bloat that does nothing to advance our interests or make us safer. And yes, taxes would increase.
Listen, I don't doubt the inability to reason for the supporters in Orlando. I have stated only dumb arses would battle the heat and humidity for two days to attend anything short of the second coming. I am kind of surprised this sentiment is being vocalized more. It is hard to appeal to the hearts and minds of the voters when those voters are held in contempt. They are either uneducated or there is some serious cognitive dissonance going on. There is no other way to describe Trump's continued bailout of the farming industry, to help mitigate the damage of his tariff war (although, that only means that the American people are paying for his tariff war twice), than as a form of "socialism". However, if you were to ask the average Trump supporter, including those who are posting to this thread and railing against the evils of socialism, if they were aware of this... you would mostly find that they are completely oblivious to the Trump $16 billion bailout of the farming industry last month. That doesn't necessarily make them uneducated but it does make them willfully ignorant. It is one or the other.
Of course, and I see nothing wrong with them myself, but it is a form of socialism and Trump is definitely engaged in it. I'm just pointing out that "socialism" is not the root of all evil and that we are already an even mix of socialism and capitalism. I don't understand why Trump supporters are so triggered by the word. They clearly don't understand (or are not aware) that Trump's continued farming subsidies are a form of socialism - and he is doing it to counter the impact of a trade war that he started. It's ridiculous.Farm subsidies have been going on for decades as you know
I am not a fan of them but like having farmers stay on the farm.
One thing with government programs is there is never enough money and very little accountability.
VA management is a beta test for the issues we would face with nationalized healthcare. I do not want unionized healthcare and potential blackmail for higher salaries

Offset increases in social spending with equal decreases in military/defense spending? Raising taxes? Anything else to find the money necessary without increases the 22T in debt? Our health care is incredibly expensive. Really fixing the system should save us money. We have to be big boys and stand up to insurance companies, though. The military budget has an enormous amount of bloat that does nothing to advance our interests or make us safer. Not it's not. Average income tax for Americans 14%, amount paid not tax rate. Same rate for Europeans? 34%.It’s cheaper in other countries. We’re basically getting scammed.
So, in your own terms, describe what you mean by "pure socialism". Or even "socialism" that isn't pure and preferable to the economic system we have in this country now? When I have time to deliver a more detailed post I will... but this is not accurate. For one, as a system of government, communism tends to center on a one-party state that bans most forms of political dissent. As an ideology, communism makes fewer concessions to market capitalism and electoral democracy than do most forms of socialism.
Yes! He has to win Iowa and his tariffs have hurt their farmers... but it has to be acknowledged that this is a form of socialism, which he rants against in every speech and his supporters eat it up (because they either don't know what the hell socialism is, or they don't pay attention to the news and know about the farm subsidies). McDad doesn't think we should hold Trump supporters in contempt? How is it possible to not think of the people at Trump rallies who applaud his rants against socialism as being ignorant? They don't know what they are applauding or realize that he has engaged in socialism himself. Can't believe anyone struggles to understand the motivation behind Trump farm subsidies as a result of tariffs.
Votes.
