2020 Presidential Race

CNN aired their contribution to fair and balanced reporting: America, a state of hate.

Cuomo actually attempted to be objective and tell Lemon to back away from the ledge a few times during his incessant Trump compares to Hitler rambling. Lemon was having none of it and continued to hold firm in his belief that we've somehow traveled back in time to pre-civil rights and jim crow era U.S. with lynchings occurring daily.

Talk about fear mongering.

12 years left so better start concerning with bigger fish

Lol.......you watched the wrong guy Stewie....he didn't sound anything at all of what you say.
Trump was all fired up & pumped up to show he's still got that positive energy. Trump ain't no Bernie and no sleepy Joe Biden that stumble & stutter through their little speech that their wives write for them.

In between the reading, he seems. energetic.

If the best defense you have, is that it's relatively speaking, not much money? That is not a defense at all. If it's not much money, all the more reason that she should have sold her stock in Vulcan, prior to accepting a cabinet position, where she would have influence over what government contracts that Vulcan was able to secure. There is no defense for this... especially so, in not disclosing her stock holding during her Senate confirmation hearing. Her husband, the Senate Majority Leader, does not come away from this looking like he cares anything about ethics either.

Why should I sell my position when Congress and senate members can listen to insider information for certain companies then invest in said companies? Pot calling the kettle black.

I don't understand really what they think they're trying to accomplish at CNN by being so anti-Trump 24/7.
If Hillary had won the election we'd all be in the daily bread lines mandated to us by the government. That's not America we all know & love.

Okay, but your post was still pretty light on Trump's attributes and leadership qualities. I placed in bold what you said about Trump, everything else was related to the Democrats. You do point out that he isn't a lawyer or career politician (neither was George W. Bush, who has an MBA from Yale and once owned the Texas Rangers of MLB). Other than that, your case seems to be that the economy is strong (and it is, the unemployment rate is 3.6%). Your statement that he cares for this country is also probably accurate as well (but I don't think he is alone in that), it's also accurate to say that he never served in the United States Armed Forces (unlike many other Presidents including George H.W. Bush).

You give many more reasons for not liking Democrats than you do reasons in favor of Trump. I can't help but feel that your animus toward Democrats is at the heart of your positive feelings for Trump... based on your own words but thanks for the response. It was a good post.

G.W. Bush as you said attended both Yale and Harvard was the two term Governor of Texas and was the son of a former President.

You mention Trump not serving in the Military neither did Obama although Trump did attend a Military Academy prep school. The next President we have who served in the Military will be either Tom Cotton or Dan Crenshaw.

Well yeah, the fact he isn't a democrat is enough to love Trump. Those people are nuts!

So let me get this straight! Some of you are upset that the Fox News Channel (the most watched news network by the way) showed a speech tonight delivered by the President of the United States?

Let that sink in a minute you are upset that a speech from the President of the United States was aired on an American television network!!

You still mad bro? You will pop a vein

If he wins again, I just think that is about the saddest commentary on the intellectual status of this country. It will reaffirm every negative stereotype of Americans you can imagine. Gluttonous, selfish, dishonest, braggart, cheap, always working a con, untrustworthy, unjustifiably arrogant and stubborn, jingoistic, and uneducated.

Not just because he is all those things, but because he tricks millions of gullible people into voting for him.

Sounds like a meeting of the Bar Association.

So Trump is hitting it out of the park tonight, and I thought I would just stop in at CNN and MSNBC to see how they are covering his speech... nope, not covering it live. But rather tearing him a new one, and then interviewing the next great Dem senator, who is on a mission to impeach Trump.

Nothing new... haters gonna hate.

Lol, so I did the same thing for the same reason. Yep, these clown networks are hilarious losers and predictable. MSNBC - the speech was for his base and he didn't change any minds. CNN - it's hate speech and let's talk about how McConnell talking down to reparations. This after Cuomo had crazy race baiter Angela Rye on the air. Then joked about imagine if I had Rye weighing in on this.

No one is surprised that Fox carried it start to finish. No one is surprised their coverage after was rosy and congratulatory. No one is surprised Fox portrayed the crowd as coherent and knowledgeable.

No one is surprised it's all a bunch of crap.

There is a growing, seething resentment that a mass of stupid people manged to thread an electoral needle to elect one of their own.

Lol. You just reaffirmed why he was elected to begin with. Looked like a lot of “knowledgeable” Hillary supporters after her loss crying and yelling at the sky.
