Just saw an interesting fact. How bad have the 10s been for us?

The only coach with a winning record is Jim Chaney. 1-0.

Pruitt has to go 7-5 to break even.

I thought Butch had an overall winning record

5-7
7-6
9-4
9-4
4-6?**

34-27**

Incredible what passes for facts nowadays.

**Can't remember how long they made us wait before ridding him from the sidelines. Hoke took over the last two games?

Generally all that service does is give a sense of peace of mind. They're not all that effective.

I agree with this report. It is somewhat dated, but the principles and points it makes are still valid. Perimeter combined with internal motion detection is effective, more so when tied to cellular (not land-line) notification. Add in the use of video security being much more prevalent and relatively inexpensive today. The cameras can be placed in inconspicuous as well as highly visible places to serve notice to would-be bad guys. Movement notifications arrive on your smart phone with video evidence. With family and friends in law enforcement using and recommending them, we do likewise. To each their own.

video is key. we had a rash of car break ins last week (they got in my truck, fortunatley, i don't keep much in it, so no biggie), but my neighbor accross the street got view of the suspects from several different angles, as well as several other neighbros in the area....i think they caught them based off it all.

All true. We bought an amazon cloud camera for our house and it has an app that alerts us when movement in the house is detected while we are away. We were on vacation and had ffriends watching our dog when we got an alert that showed someone breaking in through a window in our living room. Turns out it was just our friends who had lost our key we gave them and found an unlocked window to crawl through so they could take the dogs out haha. Camera was inexpensive too. Bought a second one and put that at the front door. They are great. Also have a ring doorbell so we can see and record our cars in the driveway at night. We actually caught a kid breaking into our car and the cops used the recording we had and found him later that night walking the street. He was 10 years old and had a gun on him.

AV gave us a faint whiff of a hope that the Grumors were true last time, which is more uplifting than anything any of the rest of you have posted relative to UTK football since the founding of this site.

Depends. If you're rolling with a Zebco, probably someone hungry or kids. Nice Swede Abu setup, maybe someone trying to get a few bucks from the pawn shop.
Not a zebco. Just a mid range shakespeare spin-cast on an ugly-stik with an old tackle box & a few hundred in lures/gear.

3a.m., stealing fishing gear. . . I'd say it was someone hungry. . . for a crack rock.

Josh Ward interviewed Lovie Jenkins on the locked on Vols podcast. Lovie said Coach Ansley told him “it is about to be a crazy couple of weeks for TN recruiting.”

Ward follows that up by asking “so Ansley led you to believe there will be some new commits soon?” Lovie came back with “Oh yea, there is going to be a lot of buzz around TN”.

Shazam! Ok. Where are my little blue pills.

Exactly!

Steal a mans fishing gear, that's like kicking a man's dog or bad-mouthing his truck.

Btw, I heard this is gonna be a good recruiting week/weekend.

Only family members may use my fishing gear. No one touches fly rod w/o permission.
Granted they're 5 & 3, my girl's have learned basics of fly casting.

If you threaten to shoot enough neighbors, your legend will grow and people will be afraid of your house. That’s what I did and it works well.

I gave that a try once. All I got was a lot of police presents in the front yard. Presents in the form of boot heels and slap jacks. Not counting the lefts and rights.
