2020 Presidential Race

Headline says “likely” article says “could”
There is no doubt that some of Biden's lead is attributable to name recognition and that will dissipate once the debates begin and some of the lesser known candidates become visible and have their voices heard. That is almost always the case in the primary season. Now, that headline is misleading with a very subtle change made... it suggests an agenda on the part of the person who wrote it.

Trump's numbers aren't high enough to shred anybody and Bernie would probably bring out the Democratic Party base by even bigger numbers than Biden. Trump damn sure isn't winning Michigan if Bernie is the nominee.
While Trump is behind nationally (although not significantly), Trump's poll numbers are better now than they were at this time last election.

How did 2016 turn out?

I was simply parroting the typical repub quip when Dems do the same. Anyone wasting their vacation time on a politician is a complete moron
No it's not the same. We say that when you dems spend day after day protesting which sometimes turns into a full riot. Not when they simply attend a Presidential rally. I guess it sucks when your front runner can only get about 200 people at his rally

Supporters of President Trump already have started lining up outside Orlando’s Amway Center for the president’s official re-election campaign kickoff rally – more than 40 hours before the event is scheduled to start.

In a scene befitting a "Star Wars" premiere or new iPhone launch, Orlando-area media were reporting that the first Trump supporters began camping outside the arena as early as 2:30 a.m. Monday for Trump’s rally slated to start at 8 p.m. on Tuesday.

"There's going to be a bunch of people, and it's going to be pretty intense," Gary Beck, who was the first person in line on Monday morning, told local media. "The electricity is going to be high. It's time for America to get back on its feet and be made better than it's ever been before."

Go ahead and underestimate Trump. See how that turns out for you.

Can't wait for 2020.
I just like to point how whenever a poll has Trump at or above 50% (Rasmussen is the only one that ever has), Trump and his internet minions are quick to tweet those poll numbers, but whenever Rasmussen drops him back below 50%, like they did today, they either go ignored or dismissed. In Trumpland, how far out it is from the election, is not the issue... if a poll is favorable to Trump, it goes in a tweet ... otherwise, it's either "fake news" or it's "remember last time?". The same can be said for those head to head poll numbers which show Trump trailing the entire Democratic field. If they had Trump ahead? He would have tweeted them by now and he would be boasting of his lead while thanking America for such great support.

Just like 2016 the Democrats expect a landslide win for their candidate. The polls have already begun showing us all how hated Trump is and how he doesn't stand a chance.
Then election night shows up and we get this:
