2020 Presidential Race

Biden holds big lead nationally, but 77 percent 'likely to change their minds'

Former Vice President Joe Biden has a two-to-one advantage over the next closest Democratic presidential contender in a new poll, but more than three-quarters of likely primary voters say they could still change their minds.

The national survey from Park Strategies finds Biden at 32 percent support, followed by Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.) at 15 percent, Sen. Elizabeth Warren(D-Mass.) at 13 percent, Sen. Kamala Harris (D-Calif.) at 12 percent and South Bend, Ind., Mayor Pete Buttigieg (D) at 7 percent. No other candidate has more than 2 percent support.

While Biden has a big lead at the moment, his support appears to be soft. Seventy-seven percent of likely Democratic voters said they could still change their minds, pollsters found.

I keep telling everybody here. Biden won't be the nominee.

Pete Buttigieg Comes Out In Support Of Israel And Democrats Aren’t Taking It Well

Indiana mayor and Democratic 2020 candidate Pete Buttigieg may have just ruined any 2020 chances he may have had after Vox put out an article detailing his support for Israel.

The left makes it no secret that they have a very sharp disdain for Israel, even going so far as to elect blatantly antisemitic people to Congress who in turn like to pretend they aren’t blatantly antisemitic after being blatantly antisemitic.

Vox released an article with a headline describing Buttigieg’s appreciation of Israel as a “strong ally” and that he’s behind the idea of keeping the US embassy in Jerusalem where Trump put it after he recognized Jerusalem as Israel’s true capital. To say this set off some hard feelings would be an understatement.

The Vox article leads off by describing Buttigieg’s penchant for supporting Israel and keeping the embassy in Jerusalem:

Of course, they are anti-Semitic. They are the party of the Klan, after all.

Trump's numbers aren't high enough to shred anybody and Bernie would probably bring out the Democratic Party base by even bigger numbers than Biden. Trump damn sure isn't winning Michigan if Bernie is the nominee.
You're nuts. Bernie will be stuttering spit. Owning three houses and driving $100,000 cars and running around saying what he does will get him shredded alone.

I thought about you when I saw Franklin's post. You will likely rank with Nostradamus on this one... I can't see Biden making it that far either; the more exposure he gets the worse he looks as a potential POTUS. Too frail and feeble now, has not stopped plagiarizing, and still good for a gaffe a minute if let loose by his handlers.

AOC warns of 'very real risk' of Trump win in 2020, says frustration with Pelosi is 'quite real'

In her first Sunday morning show appearance since taking office in January, New York Democrat Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez warned that there is "very real risk" President Trump will win re-election in 2020, and acknowledged that progressive frustration with House Speaker Nancy Pelosi is also "quite real."

The comments struck an unusually defensive tone for the 29-year-old progressive firebrand, as Democrats seek to winnow their large list of 23 presidential contenders. Ocasio-Cortez also spoke bluntly on her initiative to repeal the Hyde Amendment, which bars most federal funding for abortion -- and 2020 Democrat front runner Joe Biden's abrupt reversal on the issue earlier this month.

"I think that we have a very real risk of losing the presidency to Donald Trump if we do not have a presidential candidate that is fighting for true transformational change in the lives of working people in the United States," Ocasio-Cortez told ABC News' Jon Karl on "This Week" Sunday.

"I think that if we elect a president on half-measures that the American people don't quite understand -- the agenda of a president, you know, that says we're fighting for higher wages but we don't want a $15 minimum wage, fighting for education but we don't want to make colleges tuition-free, fighting for women's rights, et cetera, but we don't want to go all the way with that, then I think we have a very real risk of losing the presidency," Ocasio-Cortez continued.

He either steps on his dick (AGAIN) on the campaign trail, gets caught up in Russia Gate, or his son's cozy business dealings with China and Ukraine take him down.

You would think so..with rational folks. Democrats tend to be the party of "do as i say, not as i do" such as the Hollywood actors and actresses screaming about "global warming " as they drive gas guzzlers and fly everywhere in private jets... or like Al Gore whose power bill for his 20,000sf house was that of a small neighborhood, and jets all around the world while screaming about "carbon footprints ". Hypocrisy is the norm among the aristocrats. No big deal that Bernie has 3 houses and millions of dollars from capitalism while demonizing the system that made him rich and begging for socialism to rule our country. Hypocrisy is now the norm for those socialists who call themselves "progressives" .

Could be any/all of the above; hard to see enough positives to outweigh his negatives. But my take on why he will not be their nominee is because he is so clearly way past his prime I can't see him maintaining as frontrunner a year from now. When he was in his prime he might could have pulled it off. Still and all, the DNC may try to prop him up anyways, and we get Hillary 2.0. After all, who else they got that has that broad an appeal?

Trump ran against the worst Democratic candidate possible four years ago... and he still only won 46.2% of the vote. He isn't "shredding" anybody.
