One of my favorite places down there. I lived in Tallahassee for a little while. How bad were they affected by the hurricane ?
Still digging out. Saw two boats in ditches on the side of the road. Many buildings still with boarded windows. A few houses with trees across the roof. The road out to the cape is still under construction and is one lane.

lord id be drunk as **** at this point. how can you keep cooking?
Five demanding people. One being my wife. I was trying to move the Dutch oven off the coals and didn't even get it sat back down and she's like "what are you going to do with those coals?". I said "shove that shovel up my backside and I'll see if I can multitask. "

Brian Bell, a member of Weezer, is from Knoxville. His Dad is a long time professor at UT, and I took an economic geography class that he taught.
Not that it matters.. but. Tom Bell and his wife/Associate Geography Prof/Ex student Peggy Gripshover moved to Bowling Green, KY several years ago.

Fun story. (Disclaimer: I have a couple degrees from UT Geography.) Tom Bell used to include a Weezer-related question on his tests. My buddy and house mate didn't know the connection and in response to the Weezer test question answered simply, "Weezer sucks." Ha. Can't remember the outcome, or if i ever knew. I know that the Pinkerton album was awesome. I know I saw Brian Bell in Burchfiel during a football game. I know i didnt really care for Tom Bell that much. One of the best classes i took at UT was Ronald Foresta's Economic Geography class. The whole classroom clapped at the end of his final presentation.
