Hopefully AJ keeps throwing the ball well. Also means Newk or Touki start Saturday. DK would have needed to replace the guy heading to the IL.

Braves placed RHP Kevin Gausman on the 10-day injured list with plantar fasciitis.
This may be more of a phantom injury than anything, as Gausman has been lit up lately and holds a 6.21 ERA over 62 1/3 total innings this year. If he is indeed dealing with plantar fasciitis, it could be a lengthy absence. Sean Newcomb is expected to fill the vacant spot in the Braves' rotation, at least until Dallas Keuchel joins the mix.

He was also a .500 pitcher with a power arm his first 3-4 years and started like a Trainwreck in '91 before figuring things out.
