Y'all think the people growing and selling down here already want that legitimized corporate competition? Those people have a voice too, and it speaks in cash.

If smart they'd get first mover advantage. It's coming regardless. Set up CBD shop, legitimize your brand, get foot in door for weed.

Or you talking cartels? Big difference between them and the local yokels.

No it's not

Neither is good for you, but the cases of liver and heart problems associated with drinking is astronomical, as are drunk driving cases, and general alcohol-induced violence. Yes, obvious health and societal problems with weed, but nowhere close to alcohol on a per user basis.

That said, weed ain't what it used to be either. Much stronger and now people are dabbing, etc. Weirdly, I read acid is 4x weaker than it used to be. It's weird how the directions of different drugs go. Love me some Drugs Inc. btw.

We just legalized online gambling. I'm reading the new law for a client today. You need 800 grand cash just to apply and then they'll check your financials. You pay another 750 grand cash for an annual renewal fee. Then they tax 20 percent of your gross profit every month on top of whatever other taxes you have to pay. If you've had any felon conviction or any misdemeanor that some beurocrat thinks makes you dishonest, you're out of the game.

I don't see how any mom and pop bookies are going to get first mover status with those entry barriers. You can bet your ass that whatever they come up with for a marijuana producer license will make this online gambling stuff look like chump change, unless your name is Philip Morris.

No doubt it will be rigged to some degree. So stupid. Smart folks will just keep betting on Bovada and avoid some absurd vig forced by all the regulatory fees.

Greedy azz nanny state always finds a way to ruin something so simple and kill the golden goose. But the statistically impossible to beat state-ran lottery is ok and simple for all. God I hate the politics surrounding gambling. Ignorance in endless supply. "Poker is a game of luck" fools and their skewed morality.

Have to disagree. With a healthy KD and no hamstring injury for Klay, Warriors in 5. We'll never know but Toronto will have to hear about Warrior injuries for a long time.

I'm a Warrior fan but I will say the Raptor players have class and quieted the crowd last night when they were excited over Durant injury. Players classy, Drake zero class..

I don’t think it would be in 5 but who knows. As bad as the injuries have hampered GS I still think Toronto is legit. I would still take the dubs but probably would say they’d win at least 6 if not 7 games.

Agree on second part. Good on Lowry, Green, Serge and other players for immediately telling their fans to shut the hell up.

Well, I had something work related to attend at Disney, so we went several days early and took the kids. We had always kind-of felt like our kids weren't super into Disney, and also aren't what you would call "troopers", and we definitely knew that we had no interest. But, we thought that we might as well take the opportunity so that it's one less thing our kids can use to blame us for why their lives are unfulfilled.

Our hunches were correct. For the most part, we hated it. And not necessarily for the reasons we thought we would hate it. (FYI...I've heard people say this and assumed they were just being funny, but it actually did smell like hot dog water down there)

I was astounded at how poor the service was. You hear so much about how spectacular customer service is at Disney. However, with very few exceptions, the "cast members" we encountered were indifferent at best...grouchy at worst. And I couldn't believe how poor some of them were at their jobs. We stopped to grab some waters at one of the street-vendor-esque carts in Animal Kingdom. I was third in line and the two people in front of me ordered a beverage and an ice cream. I was in the line for at least 10 minutes. The guy operating the thing was doing his best impression of the character "Flash" from Zootopia. And whether you are in the parks, or at a Disney hotel, you will not do anything the way you want to do it...you will do it the way they tell you to do it. And, even then, it is inconsistent (on two of the days we could wait in a pool area near the end of the water slide for our son to come down the slide...on another day, we were commanded to clear that area and wait in another section).

We didn't have one meal on Disney property that didn't absolutely suck.

We knew that the hotel room was going to be cramped with four people (we stayed at the Yacht Club), but it was downright miserable. The mattress was very uncomfortable, and the water pressure was anemic.

It took us five trips to guest services for our magic bands to work consistently. The blamed it on my using the iPhone app to unlock my door...which I did because the magic band didn't work.

For everything we hated about it, though, the Happily Ever After show at Magic Kingdom made the entire trip worth it. It was one of the most spectacular things I've ever seen.

So, take Chuckie's advice: If you are going to be in or around Orlando, take the opportunity to see the show at Magic Kingdom...and skip everything else.

PS...be sure to have cash on you if you take the Florida Turnpike. They don't take cards and give you an "insufficient funds" notice to pay the toll when you get home. In one of the most Florida things I've ever experienced, there is no way to pay the toll online. I'm going to have to mail two separate checks...one for $1 and another for $3.25 to satisfy my obligations. If someone has an "in" with the big man (Coach Pruitt), please relay all of this to him and let him know I'd appreciate it if they'd beat the dog piss out of the Gators this year.

tl;dr - Be sure to see the end of day show at Magic Kingdom before you die...other than that, stay the hell out of Florida -- especially Orlando.

Disney food sucks unless you're there for the Food and Wine festival at Epcot. They absolutely nailed the price and portion sizes for that.

And the Avatar: Flight of Passage ride at Animal Kingdom is absolutely unbelievable.

Did you and your family plan well in advance the days that you would be at Disney? What were the names of the places that you ate at? I have eaten at numerous places at different parks, and have had some very good food. However, those places are ones that you have to have reservations for. If you did not plan well in advance, then that is probably why you didn’t have an enjoyable experience. Most people I talk to that do not have a good time are those who think they can go and do everything on a whim.

I understand you are a fan, but I wouldn't put an asterisk by it. The Warriors got the benefit of playing a Lebron team in 2015 without Love and Irving. They got to play the end of the Houston series last year, while down, without Chris Paul. They were also down 2-1 a few years ago to the Grizzlies when Tony Allen got hurt and Conley was just back from a broken face. It'a all a wash.

Our OL just has to show some improvement and be adequate.

We sucked on O last year primarily bc of Helton. I was like WTF with his play calls.

Chaney is going to be a significant upgrade.

Interestingly, Helton has already said he will be running air raid at WKU...I don't believe for one second that was truly Helton's own gameplan. Not after being taught by Brohm.

You guys must not be eating at the right places. If you are getting your food from these vendor type booths on the sides of the street in the parks, then you are doing it all wrong. There are plenty of restaurants within the parks and outside of the parks associated with some of the resorts that have fantastic food.

Next time any of you are at Disney, stop by Sleepy Hollow restaurant in the Magic Kingdom and get a spicy chicken waffle… You can thank me later. That is one of the few things I like from the smaller type restaurant or vendor booths with in the parks. Pretty much everything else we try to make reservations and eat at some of the better restaurants.

Planning on going back the first week of February… Can’t wait!

Maybe, maybe not. But, at a place like WKU, you have to think outside the box with less talent and to keep fans in the seats.

I don't know who came up with the gameplan against UF, but Helton had influence, and it needs to be thrown out the window.

I think he was pointing out how bad those 2 were before Chaney and then he got them both to the NFL. Brees was always good. Chaney helped but what he did for crompton and peterman was arguably a lot more impressive.

Is is just me? I don't remember the 2012 Peterman being impressive. Just remember the Florida debacle. Not sure the Peterman story is a feather in Chaney's cap.

Chaney was the OC at Pitt when Peterman was there.
He was for a year, but not the year Peterman blew up. That was under Canada. Peterman was very mediocre the 1 year under Chaney. Not to say he may not have had some hand in how well he did his Senior year, but that would be hard to quantify.

Oh OK. I vaguely remember that. Thanks for clarifying. So I guess Chaney went to Pitt after leaving Arkansas and before going to Georgia.

Well, to clarify even more, Chaney was only their one year, and it was Peterman's first year. Peterman's had a better senior year with Matt Canada, but Peterman looked much better his junior year under Chaney than he ever did at UT.
