I like sage in sausage. Hate maple flavor in sausage.
Well, I do like non-maple sausage, but on the other hand, I like to swish it through some maple syrup left over from waffles.

I literally get nauseous thinking about syrup marinated batter covered in butter and whipped cream. As I've said, it's not the actual flavor... Or texture, it's just they are soooooo sweet. Barf.

Well, with waffles, I don't use whipped cream, and I don't make them very sweet, and in fact, I like to add pecans to the batter. But I don't have much of a sweet tooth, and once a year is plenty for me with waffles or pancakes.
