Settling in for the champions league final. Who the he'll likes Imagine Dragons? They look too old to appeal to tween girls. Can't imagine how they ever got popular enough to open this.

didnt see the pregame but I still dont believe they are a real band.

in other news, i just saw a Heineken commercial about a beer with no alcohol... who would want to put themselves through the taste of beer without alcohol?

Those of you all who questioned the asswhopping that Liverpool just put on Spurs. Come at me.

Son was the only one who showed up for Tottenham. Jurgen Klopp just went full Nick Saban and out talented and out coached Mauricio (who needs to be the Real Madrid manager ASAP).

I'm an Arsenal fan anyway, and even I rate Mauricio as one of the top 5 managers in the world. Ever since I had a Team of the Week card of Son in FIFA 17, I've respected and rooted for him. I'm an American anyway so top kek. Was betting heavy on this game like the degen I am.

Wouldn't call it an asswhoppin by any stretch. Spurs controlled the ball most the game just got weak shots on goal. Liverpool got a gift goal early.

It was a tactical masterclass. By Jurgen. I agree . The soft penalty changed things early. Pochetinno made the decision early to move to an offside trap. They were chasing a goal so they abandoned their normal.approach of build up through the middle through Dele Ali and Erikson, and Lok to the wings. But Liverpool have much better and balanced fullbacks. Jurgen knew that his side could hold formation for 90 mins
. Spurs had some moments, but they never had control of the match .

I agree with what you're saying for the most part. It really is amazing and discouraging how many students come to school unprepared and uninterested. As RishVol said, not even writing utensils or paper. I give that stuff to them, but the next day they don't have it. And MOST of the time it can be traced back to their parents.

But that's not the only problem. I think we're very confused about what school should even be for, and therefore, we try to be all things to all people. Academic prep for those interested, technical skills training for those who want that, athletics training for those, and recess for those who don't want to do anything. By trying to do all of these things, we do none of them well. I like what someone said about Japan's approach, have different types of schools for different students with different focuses.

Add to that, teachers are expected to be mentors, baby sitters, counselors, parents, disciplinarians, coaches, secretaries, and so much more.
And if that's not confusing enough, we can't really hold students accountable for their laziness, disrespect, etc. To a large extent they can do what they want to do without real consequence.

But also, some teachers really have no business teaching. To them it's just a job; and it's a job they aren't very good at. Teaching is not for someone who looks at it as just a job.

Btw, college is the biggest farce we have. At the very least it's overhyped. It's not for everyone, but high schools (counselors?) try to make it so.

Ill defer to you i admit to being a Spurs fan for a couple of years now only because i wanted a premiere league team to follow and Tottenham appealed to me. I know little about the other teams or soccer strategy in general just what i saw as i watched it.

Sitting in an airport reading my Athlon Sports preview magazine and looking at South Carolina’s schedule. Whoof! Gonna be a long year in Columbia.

Clemson, Georgia, Alabama and Texas A&M all on there, to name a few. I could see them getting worn down and missing a bowl game.
