Here's a video breaking down all of the leaks and rumors so far phase 4. Ofcourse takes these with a grain a salt until Marvel starts confirming stuff but supposedly these leaks are coming from sources who have had correct info in the past.

Its going to be a major step down. The golden age is over.

You seem hell bent on this happening, considering you keep repeating it every time this discussion comes up.

Also, considering Endgame might end up the highest grossing film worldwide ever, anything is going to automatically be a "step down".

Working knowledge? You realize Iron Man was a C List character when Marvel Studios made the first movie right? There is a reason the rights to the Avengers was never sold off with Spider-Man, X-Men and Fantastic Four... it’s not because bankrupt Marvel was trying to hold onto its best properties. Sony refused to take the Avengers when offered with Spider-Man.

You are talking about a studio that made Guardians of the Galaxy into a smash hit, a property even seasoned comics fans had fleeting familiarity with.

The gravy train isn’t slowing down yet.

Pretty sure this has all been pointed out to him a few times at least and he'll likely ignore it again.

Lol, says the guy that pimps everything Netflix puts out as the most awesome thing ever.

Did Marvel beat you up as a kid or something?
And you are marvel's non superhero hero? Netflix hits and misses like everyone else. Marvel has no more bullets in the chamber and Disney will help sink it. As for iron man, c list is a big stretch. Dude ran the avengers he was b list at worst.

No more bullets in the chamber is a pretty ignorant statement. Marvel still has a lot to work with. Also the Marvel/Disney relationship has been going great as they swim in all the money they have made together like Scrooge McDuck.

Black Panther 2... Most likely 3.

Doctor Strange 2

In case you missed it Captain Marvel just made over a Bil. It will get a sequel.

They will build to 2nd Gen Avengers group.

Then after those we will start getting the Fox Properties back like FF and X-Men.

Plus a 4th Thor movie and a 3rd Spider-Man movie and Namor is probably getting introduced in phase 4. Then you have all the stuff they can do with The Fantastic 4, X-Men and Deadpool.

I was working at a comic shop in the late 90s when Marvel was in bankruptcy. Iron Man and the Avengers were after thought titles. First they tried making Tony Stark a teenager then they licensed off the comics to the Image Studios guys just to generate SOME interest. There was a bump in sales but it was Still X-Men, and Spider-Man at the top then everybody else. Punisher and Ghost Rider were more popular than the Avengers back then.

Like I said before... they practically begged Sony to take the Avengers rights and Sony laughed at them.

Silver Surfer will definitely get his own movie series.

Gosh they could just do Marvel Team-Up with just Spider-Man and Human Torch.

All the ones that were weak lol. I don't care how much they make. Look at Star Wars, they can put a butt farting the soundtrack on the screen for two hours and it would make a billion. Xmen has been done to death, Fox destroyed that goldmine same for FF.

My point is anything can make money but the great stories from the actual books are mostly behind us. Kraven the hunter is about all i can think of.

So it doesn’t matter how successful they are it won’t be good enough?

If you think all the great stories have been told then you don’t know much about comics.

I’m going to go out on a limb and say you didn’t even know what GotG was before the movie and now you are saying it’s the only viable property left. LOL

I’m not saying you are ignorant but if you think that 22 movies has really covered all the best stuff from 80 years of Marvel Comics than yeah... you don’t know that much about comics.

Stan And Jack’s 110 issues FF has enough top quality material for 5-6 movies alone.

But off the top of my head:
Secret Wars
Galactus (Dons right)
Doom stealing the Surfer’s powers
A negative Zone story with Annihilus
House of M
Mutant Massacre
Inferno
X-Tiniction Agenda
Age of Apocalypse
Sinister Six
Maximum Carnage
Secret Invasion
Kree/Skrull War
Plenty of KANG the Conqueror stories

And that is just he power house characters.

Newt, do you troll because you enjoy it or do you have an actual point to make? I'm just curious because if you've read comics, you know there are more stories to be told.

Memory escapes me, but what was the one where the Hulk travelled to the future to face his evil future self? Something like Future Imperfect or something? His evil self was called Maestro, I think?
