One of those folks who expects to win every game and never adjusts expectations based on roster or schedule, I presume
Expecting to win isn't the issue. It's putting those parameters on not meeting those expectations that causes problems. I expect to win but understand there are a lot of things that can go wrong. I'm disappointed with the losing but all I can do is root for wins since I'm not a janitor like hank that impacts whether we win or not.

Several big time artists as well as Big time soccer games have refused to perform/play at Neyland bc they wanted shares of alcohol revenue which they wanted sold at said events.

Oh man USA soccer at Neyland....WHOA that'd be huge. I was at the game in Nashville where we broke the single game TN record for most fans in attendance.

Too many big cities to give the WC to to let Nashville have a game
Disagree. With the incredible success that the NFL Draft saw (600K people) plus with us getting a MLS team and brand new stadium in 2021 I bet theyll pick us. Also when Man City & Tottenham played here Nissan Stadium was full to the top, itll come here.

I agree there are many reasons to have a game but you forget FIFA is the most corrupt non-government entity

Witch Doctor say Doug Mathews said it best. He wanted to be here and why come here cheap after seeing what Tennessee and Fulmer will pay ( kudos Fulmer!)HAVING to leave Tennessee wasnt his choice or fault. Witch Doctor say Defense hire by Dooley wrecked the ship. Witch Doctor say Bones like Chaney and so does Witchie! lol

Bones Never Lie.

Way too early basketball prediction?

Considering our losses, I think simply making the Big Dance is a realistic goal. I am going slightly optimistic and saying 19-12 with enough Q1 wins to get us in. But I could easily see us going NIT or just .500 after seeing our projected depth chart. Our post is going to get eaten alive.

I'm more optimistic than you. I guess despite the lack of experience most of our projected starters have a year or two in Barnes' system. I'm also hoping Burns is ready to be a force, he is still a .9561 4 star 2nd only to James in highest rated recruit Barnes has put on campus and he had a full year learning from and practicing against Grant/Kyle/Admiral so I think he'll be more than a simple minutes guy like Walker was.

22 wins is my projections...could see them losing a few more but I'll stick with that for now. Goes up if Plavsic is eligible at least 2 games.

Meh. People that drink, snuck in whiskey. Wont change anything. Might even be better, since people wont have to try and drink a bunch before game, or drinking straight liquor during game .
Now they can just get em a 12 dollar beer .

OSU did a study (pretty sure it was them) when they added sales and found they had fewer alcohol related incidents with alcohol sales in the stadium. The working theory was that it was due to people binge drinking less because they knew they could purchase alcohol inside. That said, it was only a one year study so it's hard to say much about it (all kinds of factors, even just the difference from season to season, could've had an impact on the rate of incidents).

People are going to drink at games no matter what. I just hope that if we do go with alcohol sales that we don't get so addicted to the money that they won't change course *if* fan behavior gets bad. I also think it was smart of Auburn and Alabama to say no -- I can't imagine the Iron Bowl with both sides having even more access to booze.
