yeah, like i said, I was recalling the moment in the top of the 3rd. However, you're right. Giving up two straight walks after 1-2 counts isn't very good. You just can't let the ball stay that high. The ump will quit giving you any call, and sooner or later you're going to tee one up. Both events happened to Dempster last night.

lol.. Do not ever reference myself in a "we or us" comment regarding the Cubs.

I think Z and Harden have to win the next two games for you and both are capable of it. I was really afraid Piniella would waste a lot of the pen last night, but he didn't. If Zambrano can pitch 7 or more innings tonight and get the W, I think the Cubs will be in good shape heading to LA.

Just don't give Manny any chances to kill you. At all.

Hell just walk him and make sure the pitches are wayyyyy out of the strike zone.

If the Cubs can get to Billingsley early, you definitely have a chance. Even though Billingsley's ERA is sub 3.2, he gives up quite a few hits each outing. If the Cubs can get the hits and capitalize on them, I think Z shuts down the Dodgers offense.

However, I picked the Dodgers to win the NL the other day and I'm sticking with that prediction. If the Cubs win tonight, I think Harden throws a good 5 or 6 innings in Game 3 and assuming the 'pen can hold it for you guys, you'll be in the driver's seat to win the series.

I'd also like to point out that this series is the NLCS. I don't believe Philly or especially the Brewers match up well against either team right now.

I tried all year to get him in a trade in fantasy, but the guy who had him neverrrrrrrrrr checked his.

It may be a tradition i'm not familiar with, but that's beside the point...

It is hilarious that the song played when that pitcher for the Dodgers was warming up was "Livin on a Prayer."

That's either tradition, or the sound guy is bored and wanted to see a reaction.
