Naw, just spent years with feet hurting by the end of the day.
If I didn’t say it, always get two pair (at least) and rotate the shoes daily. It takes 24 hours for the sole of the shoe to recover from a days use. It you wear the same pair every day, then the sole won’t be able to recover and it will not adequately cushion your foot after a few months. I read that in a running magazine (I am NOT a runner lol). My shoes would look brand new but kill my feet after about 3-4 months. Now I buy at least two pair (sales are addictive) and they will last longer. I had 3 pair that went 2 1/2 years before replacing them...
As long as my shoes cushion my feet, then my feet, knees and back don’t hurt...

Also hydration is key. I used to try to “camel” it to save time, but it made me miserable because my muscles and joints were essentially dry. Staying hydrated, I can work faster and more efficiently even with bathroom breaks. Biggest bonus is that I am not exhausted at the end of the day.

I turn 57 this year. I need to work at least 12 more years...had kids later, so retirement gets pushed back. I can’t afford to feel old at this point. 😎
Thanks for the tip. Also, I'm in one of those professions where potty breaks are a luxury so hydration is unfortunately not my friend

Who other than a minority of vol fans actually is paying attention to our recruiting for there to be this awful perception?
It is obvious to anyone paying attention to recruiting over the past couple of months in particular.

This could be mean nothing, it could be the key. This was always going to be a three to four year rebuild to be 9+ win team. We expected more in the second year and it hasn't really been a great start. This coaching staff had a had great success elsewhere. I don't think the sky is falling yet, but I'm beginning to get concerned with the lack of momentum.

I'm no expert, but If it were me, I'd put your old ram back in and see if it still happens. That way you can isolate the issue. I'd guess bad ram, but it could be a number of things.

Yeah that's where I'm at right now...I have the old RAM only in, and the new SSD. But I reformatted the SSD to try and do a fresh install and it was giving me the blue screen again (in Windows 7).

Think what I'm going to do is put back in the old HDD and then add the new RAM and see what happens...if it all appears good then I can eliminate the upgraded RAM as a problem. Reinstall the SSD and if it gives me an issue I at least know it's something related to the motherboard/os/ssd not communicating well with one another.

Yep, that's where I am, too. I think it's completely reasonable to feel that way right now.

A lot of has to do with expectations fair or unfair. This staff was legitimately advertised as the best recruiting staff in America. So when you’re in the teens and then in the 20s it’s gonna look like a much bigger deal.

Almost all of those threads were made before May.

I think @Sleegro was asking for a legitimate example, I was wanting to read about it also. Any links etc.. outside of our own fanbase that I can check out?

Who advertise as such?

I found 7 that had their threads start in May or later. A lot of others were like most on here with the very premature start from sociopaths like Tony B that lay dormant till the summer before their senior year.
We do send out offers early but I think asking how many were we focused on is the real point. And a legitimate question imo.

“Tennessee needs a talent upgrade. … It’s going to take five years to get it done. I think Jeremy Pruitt will get it done because he’s a good enough coach and recruiter to get it done. But it will take that long. The reason is, there’s other people in the league already getting it done. And they have no margin for error because they play Alabama, Georgia and Florida every year.”

“The question is, why did they finish so poorly last year? They played like crap down the stretch against Missouri and Vanderbilt. They’ve lost three in a row to Vanderbilt — that’s unacceptable.”

“Jeremy lucked out getting rid of Tyson Helton and hiring Jim Chaney. I think he’s the best, most proven offensive coordinator in the league. I think Jim is outstanding. If Jeremy will leave him alone, Jim will be fine.”

The coach being quoted missed an opportunity to fluff up the time period even more. What better way to make a team less appealing to recruits then to say it’s going to be even longer to get back than from the time they sign to the time they graduate?

He's not getting 5 years to compete. Year 3 is gonna be tough enough because the schedule. If he goes 7-5 this season, then follows it up with a similar record (6-6. 7-5) in year 3 he'll be on the hot seat in year 4. Will Muschamp is already catching major heat at South Carolina.

When are we as a fan base going to accept that it is true though? The worst thing we can do is blow this whole thing up for what would be the 5th time in ~15 years. It’s why we have been passed by literally every other SEC program not named Arkansas. I mean we’re 2-4 against Vandy in the last six games.

As long as Pruitt shows steady improvement he deserves 5 years to try to fix this dumpster fire
