Government provided is literally socialist. Because it's not government funded. Its tax payer funded, ie socialist. Just because the Consitution allows for it doesnt make it not socialist.

Who owns the military? Who owns the equipment the military uses? Who are they serving?

If the answer is not a private entity, which it clearly isnt. Or the answer is the Government, which it is. It is a socialist creation. Doesnt mean it's bad, doesnt mean we shouldn't have it, and certainly doesnt mean I dont respect those who served where I couldn't.

Just because you dont like the term socialist doesnt change the nature of the military.

I also believe we have work to do at home. Lots of improvements could be made, sure.
Here is the thing though....when you have a list of 50 things to do, you need to just tackle one at a time in an order of importance. This is the best method really. Bad part about the Gov doing it is the fighting/bickering/politics going on that ultimately puts a dead stop on knocking off items on the list. Prime example is border security.

Taking pride in yourself, community, state and nation does not mean that you agree with the idiocy of D.C. But a flat out refusal to even attempt to take pride and acknowledge the little wins that the country does get every so often....like a great economy, nearly crushing ISIS, working on getting the courts in order and more fair (judges) makes no sense.

Its like when a band gets too popular and people want to be "different" so they start crapping on that band. Next thing you know the late night talk show hosts pick up the same talking points to be "edgy" and t-shirts and crap start getting made to **** on the band. Then a couple years later, a mojority of the herd all agree that the band sucks (but they really dont know why). Now, the bands music didnt change, and the music is still awesome in fact. The followers just were just completely mind controlled into thinking something was bad. I think this same thing is going on about the idea of being an american.

So I’m gonna argue on the military being “socialist”. Yes it’s called out in the Constitution however we are not “taking” from the non military and “giving” to the military. They are not in the capacity as private citizens in their role. They are “employees”. No different than Congress.... ok wait let me back that up yeah they’re all friggin Socialists! 🤬

But you get the point I’m making.

Oh good grief the $130k is established. Trump had also stated she is a "voluptuous", "piece of ass" female he would date if society was more like Alabama. But I hope you feel better taking a shot at me and not your friends calling others pedos and posting memes about it. You seem very principled

No matter how many times you say it I'm still not claiming to be a victim. Just calling out the clear double standard when it comes to who gets called out and who gets a pass. It's predictable at this point so I'm not sure why I bother anymore

Lol ok sure.

On a lighter note I started ketogenic at the start of May. Already seeing pretty clear results and I feel great. Which was the reason for doing it not vanity I just always felt like crap. I can only eat about a third of what I ate just two weeks ago without feeling about to explode. I mention this as I saw your posts on Keto over in the Pub thread

That’s my hope. Not trying to lose 80 just want it to stay gone. The carbs will be the key long term. I’m living on about 14 net gr of carbs a day and around 800-1200 calories net after exercise. And I don’t feel hungry at all. It’s amazing. Man I miss milk and beer 😥
