Wealth gap is at critical mass

I don't think anyone is saying otherwise. But I am saying that when you concentrate such enormous wealth into the hands of

26

such that it equals the wealth of

3,600,000,000

that's an enormous problem waiting to happen.
I would say a lot of those people have $0 and don’t know the difference.

You should just stay at home:
Socialism is a political and economic theory of social organization which advocates that the means of production, distribution, and exchange should be owned or regulated by the community as a whole. Your definition is lazy and shows a tremendous right wing loon indoctrination. Throwing the word patriot around like it's a Q crumb that only the most red hatted americans are even capable of much less me even questioning his patriotism.
You didn't step on any toes, just tripped over your own. Rage on little Redhat.

The military isn't owned or regulated by the community though...nor should it be! Specialized skills shouldn't be decided by people who do not understand those skills.

I can agree that the very top echelon needs better checks and balances if you want to say that, but that is not your talking point.

Also.. I can say patriot, shipmate, downshift, carpet walker, butter bar, shitcan, noload and various other things all I want. I didnt say patriot for you. I said it for anyone else who might still consider being an American a good thing. Sounds like you dont though. When the word patriotic triggers somebody....you know where they are at pretty quick.

No idea what a Q crumb is. Maybe I'm too old? Sounds like it was an insult though so good job getting me there chief. Does that come from twatter, face****, or some of that other garbage????

As far as tripping on my toes go...thats the price you pay when you have big ass feet. My wife married me for them though so I am content...so is she 😜

And for the future, I will allow you to call me Mr. Big Red Hat. Carry on now Suzy.

No. Just that it is socialized. Socialized defense or offense. Whatever you want to call it. If its paid by taxes it is socialized by its nature.

I would be willing to meet you halfway and call it anything other than socialized. Libs can make up words whenever they like so maybe we should call it "needicised".

I am going to debunk why Wealth Inequality is a useless indicator of everything:

1) Wealth Equality is shown to be equal poverty. The average income is around 55k. In certain regions that is definitely working poor ( New York City ).

2) There is not a limited amount of wealth on the planet at all. There will always be new products, natural resources, and new services. The money printing machines in the world will compensate for the new innovations because they don't want runaway inflation

3) Why is Poverty decreasing while Income Inequality is going up?

I am mystified at why people do not understand that wealth is not a finite pie. There's growth potential. People who want some can create something, provide something, work for it. This idea that people who have done those things should be forced to surrender the fruits of THEIR labor to those who won't work is ridiculous. Charity exists. That I'm all for.

Socialism has never worked and it never will because it fails to account for human nature. If people get something they didn't earn, they will not work. If people have what they've earned taken from them, they also lose the incentive to work. Socialism enslaves, restricts, and destroys. History proves it. Only the corrupt elites in power find it to their liking.
Brilliant post sir!

Wealth creation/distribution is NOT a zero sum game.

Take away the incentive to build wealth and you kill the golden goose.

Cobb County, for example.

When I hear Cobb County Georgia, there’s only one thing that comes to mind

No, they're going to a digi pattern similar to the Marines. Less brown, more black.

Aquaflage is a great example of government waste. Why do we need a camo that blends in with water? Will that help when you go ashore? Maybe find a lagoon to lay in real still.

All three services: Army, Navy and Air Force really effed up their new uniform selections in the last ten years.

Btw: Merriam-Webster definition of Socialism

1 : any of various economic and political theories advocating collective or governmental ownership and administration of the means of production and distribution of goods. 2a : a system of society or group living in which there is no private property.

The question is who enforces this ownership? That's who owns it.

Fall guy posted a link a few pages back to studies by real respected economists that was objective, not even from the US...that showed in several different metrics that inequality as well as poverty have decreased over the last couple decades. As well as how and why, in laymans terms. Read it and quit crying ya damn socialist thieves

LOL. You are literally devoid of new ideas. Wealth gap??? Really?

What are the 3.8 Billion poorest gonna do about it? Spend money to travel to one of the richest, and take their money by force?
Has he started a thread on the "living wage" yet?

Oxfam report: world's 26 richest billionaires own same as total wealth of the 3.8 billion poorest - CNN

26 people have as much wealth as 3.8 billion people have, collectively. Forget the debate of process, communism, tax policy, capitalism, inherited wealth, etc.

With the internet and readily available information, I think we are getting to the point where the 3.6 billion aren't going to be willing to put up with this much longer. The world is heading for an inevitable collision between the haves and the have nots.

Nothing wrong with being wealthy and comfortable, try it, it may grow on you!

The police are absolutely militarized. When a police department has surplus military weaponry and freaking tanks, they are militarized. Not to mention all the other issues with violating constitutional rights and frankly showing ****** judgement.

The reason to be heavily armed and ready to protect your family and loved ones, right?

When is America going to start doing things for people to be proud of? Going halfway around the globe to pick fights or involving ourselves in the internal affairs of others isn't worthy of much pride.

How about we just enforce the Constitution here at home and work on spreading freedom here first?

You are about 10% right and 90% wrong.

The wealth gap was terrible at the turn of the 20th century. It got worse leading up to the Great Depression. FDR changed that with a lot of his policies which both Rs and Ds followed to some degree until about the 70s.

Since then it has again gotten continually worse.

So a lot did change and now it's reverting back.

My questions is we can all agree that one person (or 26) can't own 100% but I mean can they still own 50%?

Even if they can, should they?

A lot of points being made about "well, the poor can go find the rich and take it"

Yeah, I get there isn't an easy solution but part of it in the US anyways is about securing basic necessities to all (Healthcare) so that your actual income means something.

I know that sounds like scary socialism to a lot of you on here, but too bad.

I will cede part of it is simply the age we are living as inequality is growing throughout the world. But no one can argue the US isn't horrid as far as the developed countries go.
Delta is ready when you are. I'll buy you and you're entire family a one way ticket to anywhere you like. You just have to hand me your passports and renounce US citizenship when you get there.

You live in a world with finite resources and infinite money printing.
