Seems Rivals is too lazy to just make a calculator as far as I can tell, so I just ran the calculation and it looks like he actually is included in our total score. I guess they are just like 247 and any current commit is included. Signing doesn't factor into it afaik, there is no "switch point" where they go from including every commit to only factoring in signees. Otherwise team rankings would shift on signing day based on commits that did not sign. I guess that makes sense for the sites, since people would just complain about their team getting bumped from having blueshirts. And if there's one thing those sites hate it is people bizzing and moaning.

After running the numbers, we currently sit at 2334 with everyone included. Without Harris, we drop 90 points to 2244 and 14th, assuming no other movement.

Now...the question for UF is would their ranking even change? I've never heard of a transfer changing a score, as they were officially part of the class regardless. Of course, kids have never transferred this much, this early, before either. They could always make a new policy and base the final class on who is signed and on campus by game 1 or not. Something like that. Just like how they came up with "Transfer Ratings" they probably need to change their policies to change with the times. Who you have in Mid-Feb just ain't who you're going to have come Sept any longer.

Yeah because it's only on VN that Rogers decided not to commit on O&W weekend and is now trending with UK with UGA getting the last visit, and Rakim Jarrett was high on us but then decided to commit to LSU and mock everyone else, or Tate Ratledge is announcing soon but everyone and their mother knows he's picking UGA, or all of our in state guys would rather visit everyone in the world and wants to announce months in the future, etc etc etc.

None of that really occurred. Only on VN. amirite?

How "recently"?
Hardy, Scott, Baron, Griffin, Mays, Craig, and Littlejohn. There's more but that's off the top of my head. All were all under "positive" the last time there was any news.

But the negatives threads are getting all the attention today, just like in any form of news. We do love of us some disaster.

So we are down to 30th in 247. At what point do you think, hmmm maybe there is an issue here? I think a lot of guys on our board are waiting quietly to see if we can at least get a few more wins this year.

Don't remember many details but read about an experiment where they place 2 newspapers in a waiting room.
1 had a headline like 6 people slain in _____
The other, something about a medical miracle, cure for cancer found.

Yep, the slaying won out in huge fashion. Our programming is all, what's the word, fricked up.

All the VQ podcasts etc, I've listened to have been saying possibly late May but mostly June for our commits to start.
They've said that for a while. Guess I'm not worried because this is what I've been expecting.

With this staff - I honestly won't be worried until mid-Fall. I think they are a legit recruiting group and will give them the benefit of the doubt until proven otherwise.
