My thoughts are, yes we are in a type of rebuilding year, with so many new faces you can't help but assume this, Before ucla's kick off I'd already figured on 8-4 or 7-5 season and hopefully a bowl victory.Selfishly hoping for a Liberty Bowl so I can go in person
This is still possible and very probable.
Yes, we all hoped crompton would rise up and be the leader he should be, he's only been their 3 yrs ? Well this didn't happen.
We now fall back onto our senior back, knowing in our heart he wont let us down
and he'll come thru for us and well again we were fooled as he has had a couple of miscues. Some his fault some not.
Now we're left with our wonderful D, they've kept us in every game and given our offense the chance to win. Only for our offense to let us/them down and not do it.
So what are we left with...people crying for CPF's head, people wanting to hire coaches that have just been fired and yes a rebuilding year.
Just in case you get your wish and a new coach, how long will you give him to win?
2 years is all it took bama to be in national title talks so is that reasonable?
I doubt that'll happen and we'll go thru a rebuilding "period" not a year.
So just be ready for Vandy status and have 2 or 3 win seasons.
Just becareful what you ask for, you might get it!
All I ask is have faith in the team and that coach will turn it around, maybe you hate on him so much because down deep you know he will do just that and we'll be stuck with one of the winningest SEC coaches ever, that'll suck
A 15-1 SEC record says yes.
What would happen if both the 1997 and 1998 games against Florida were replayed 100 times?
Consider that in 1998, Florida had five turnovers (including one on the goal line) and a series of essentially unlucky breaks. And yet it still took a long converted FG by Jeff Hall and a short miss by Collins Cooper to pull out a 20-17 victory.
At best, a 100-game series would be split 50-50, and I can't see UT winning any of those in a blowout the way I can see Florida doing it.
Good thing this isn't baseball![]()

You seem to forget that the 1998 Florida team you're treating as a juggernaut lost to a team quarterbacked by Marcus Outzen. What would happen if both the 1997 and 1998 games against Florida were replayed 100 times?

Our '06 class was great. However, six other SEC teams finished with top 10 classes that year.
This team is absolutely loaded with upperclassmen. Calling this a rebuilding year is outrageous.
yeah, but we dont really have any major playmakers save jones and berry. It's nice to have upperclassman, it usually makes a solid team, but we have no major gamebreaker playmakers, especially in the receving core and outside of our secondary

Just to save you some embarassment in real life, you should know that your reading skills are not your strength. I've read enough of your posts to have realized that. That likely extends to your thinking skills as well. But who cares?
