Its sad theyll never get to experience playing on 150 degree blue astroturf barefoot climbing onto an equally scalding Hamburglar death trap jail cell. Or, the french fry squad spinning round and round thing, who only knew one speed - fast as hell. Just dont get it.

Pruitt needed a big body that could run full speed to the teeth of his first team defense. He served his purpose and Pruitt may reward him by letting him graduate from Tennessee. He hasn't trimed as much fat as I thought he would. That may not start til next offseason when he bring his next full class in. Between last year and this years senior class we've only had like 12 or so graduates. Its going to get ugly

I agree. But I think the show runners are getting more heat than they deserve when most of this is GRRM’s fault. There’s a reason the books have been delayed so long, and IMO it’s because of how he writes/plans his story. It was originally gonna be a trilogy, then kept on expanding, and now it’s gotten away from him and because he’s a perfectionist he can’t figure out a satisfactory way to bring the story to a close.

This season might be a disappointment or a step down from previous seasons, but endings are the hardest part of any story, especially TV. Besides Breaking Bad I can’t think of any critically acclaimed TV show where the last season hasn’t had some drop in quality

Is he still at RB? He doesn’t seem like he can find a role. IIRC he was supposedly a great Athelete that was playing wr in hs. But his athleticism might not be translating at the sec level of football.

I’d prefer he stays and finds a role as a big back/H-back utility player. But I don’t recall him playing in the spring game so idk

The O&W game stats have him at 1 reception for 6 Yds. Didn't say if he was listed as receiver or RB for the game though.

Haha, my phone originally autocorrected 6yds to 6 TDs off of 1 reception.
Now that would earn you a starting spot I'd imagine.

Jury is still out on Bama RBs...but to be fair Yeldon never got a real shot and Trent Richardson...well he is inexcusably bad to have all the physical skills he has.

Shaun Alexander (predates Saban)
Mark Ingram
Derek Henry (still work in progress)

have all been solid enough RBs in the NFL from Bama of recent memory.

Ingram's career was revitalized thanks to Kamara. I don't think he'll do any good in Baltimore. I agree with Henry still being a work in progress

Bama backs are fools gold. And same for Clemsons d-linemen since Dabo's been there. Ol Maycock goes out and over reaches for a Clemson edge rusher and drafts a Bama back.

Drake also is a bit early in his career to know for sure.

Ingram isn't a "wow" back, but 8 seasons and 6k yards when you never really got to be the feature back or a true RB1 isn't a bad career.

Eddie Lacy was another who seemed promising and then I don't know what happened...

Shaq Lawson is pretty good and Vic Beasley is really good.

Agree on this years class tho. Ferril was a horrible pick. Don’t know how you pass on josh Allen for him.

One has 2 national championships in his college career. Dumb move though, I expect Allen to become a pretty great NFL player.

I know its only May but seeing USC having the 48th ranked class currently with only 3 commits is crazy. Im sure by December theyll be top 25 but man has that program fallen under Clay Helton.
