To me, the entire thing is playing out as expected.
Media gonna profit because it gets views.
It's 'he said-he said'. Anyone that cares is gonna side with whoever says what they want to believe.

And several of us don't care which actually happened. We weren't guaranteed any option better than retaining Barnes and most likely, would have ended up on the losing end of a coaching search.
Keeping him was the better option imo.
Does he make more than his record suggests he should? Most likely. UT paying 5 mil instead of 3.5 mil make a difference in my world? Not really.

I don't care what he wants/wanted deep down, never placed VFL status on him, just what's best for UT.
If he had completely failed here, he would have seen our "loyalty". It's not feel good stuff like Fulmer etc.. but it's reality.
We made the better business decision and his druthers play no part in my view, despite media attention.

Late night eats: R Thomas' on Peachtreet St. It's open 24 hours, and the menu is really good.

Dive Bars: Johnny's Hideaway on Roswell Rd. It's a pretty fun crowd there, but if you go later at night during the weekend, be prepared to stand in line and wait (or pay $20 to the bouncer to walk in). It's well worth it - and even though you'll be paying about $10-$12 for a cocktail, Johnny's bartenders are known for overpouring their drinks to a ridiculous degree. Buckhead Saloon definitely has a dive feel to it. It's also where the UT Alumni chapter watches the Vols, so you'll probably run into some UT fans there. Five Paces Inn is another dive in the Buckhead bar area.
Johnny's still the divorcee / cougar bar? My favorite bar in ATL is the piano bar at McKinnons. I have not been to Churchill Arms since it rebranded, but it was a great place to sit by a fireplace and down a pint or two back in the 90s.

X-men timeline is a laughable joke, but I’ve enjoyed them all... except Last Stand

He's always told us who he did the most work for - (Too honest)
Then he gave us a hint that a recruit was committing somewhere 15 mins before it became public. Visiting fans saw it and ratted him on on Twitter.

You would have thought he was giving out playbook pages or influencing recruits by the reaction. In reality, 20 message board posters knew we weren't landing a kid a few minutes before the world knew. And zero influence over anything 🙄
Are you serious? He actually lost his job over posting here?

Being a casual viewer of all these superhero films is a benefit for me in some ways.
Timelines and plot holes never register and no real critiquing. I just liked it a lot or it was "ok".
Some seem truly upset when somethings don't line up, that's a stress I don't need lol.

X-men stopped trying. Wolverine lost his adamantium claws? Never mind. Just add them in next time.
The Mystique eyes on Stryker were literally added by the director because he wanted to, not because it was supposed to be Mystique. It’s hard to believe what they try to play off and forget

See, didn't notice any of that. Sometimes ignorance truly is bliss and I've got ignorance covered.
Boom..I think.

To be fair the break off Wolverine films were probably not necessary. Don't forget they tried to introduce Deadpool then too.

Logan, & both Deadpools are my favorite films from the X-Men Universe. Wasn't a fan of Apocalypse, the Last Stand or any of the other Wolverine movies though.

"Battle of the Bastards" might be one of the all time great episodes of any show.

When Jon is in battle, as their being surrounded and crushed by the Boltons, the camera-work and direction centering on Jon getting smothered is absolutely incredible. I'm on the couch watching, and holding my chest because the show made it feel like it was literally hard to breath.

Never had a facebook account and a happier person because of it. I really only have twitter to write down stuff I find funny and follow bands, favorite comedians, actors, sports teams etc. I see anything political I usually unfollow. It is what you make of it I guess.
If you never had a facebook, how do you know that you are happier than you would be if you had one?
