Obama noting that we still have a long way to go on race relations in this country is not divisive and is, as you put it, simply a fact.
Trump coddling, protecting, and when it suits him provoking those problems is the definition of divisive. He knows that his dog whistles and his wink-wink to the white nationalist ideology, even when embraced only lightly, is why he won and is key to winning again.
Trump know that his base is not sophisticated enough to see the root causes of rapid economic change, and so he makes it okay for them to blame anyone else but themselves for their personal lack of progress.
Obama saying police "acted as fools" absolutely caused alot of divisiveness. Ignore facts and blame the police was his method, which resulted in idiots burning buildings and police being attacked over his idiotic comments. Obama started all of this racial tension and divide and your left wing media is trying to push it to the extreme by pretending trump is a racist and anyone in a red hat is a nazi. Those are facts.
