you need your eyes checked of you dont see the improvement on the field. yes the wins are not there yet, but the raiders play has shown marked improvement. you say you have watched them, but considering your comment I doubt it.

Oh my god :p Ok, I am done discussing this with You, You just proved to me you have no clue...Thanks for affirming that...Marked improvement :eek:lol: Thats funny 1-3 is marked improvement right!...Oh man :mf_surrender:

Check their games at Buffalo and vs. SD. They very well could have and probably should have won both of those games. Last year they do not even compete in either. Perhaps Buffalo but they are light years better this year than last.

If you think any coach could come in there now and make them a winner over night you are kidding yourself. There are too many obstacles for that to happen.

If your talking about performance on the field you can see improvement. Sometimes that improvement doesn't translate into wins right away, especially considering Al Davis having sabotaged the team the way he has over the years.

dont bother trying to make sense to Miami. he started an argument yesterday and even though he's been proven wrong by half the board, he's going down with the ship. The raiders play has improved period.

My only question about Kiffen is, does he know how to recruit?

check his history, he's an ace recruiter. also has a great football pedigree, his dad is a defensive genius. he would change the overall perception of the Tennessee program overnight.

Why hire a coach who couldn't win in the nfl or get along with his players?

Can you see why just about any coach for the Raiders would have a serious problem in the locker room with his players? If Al is constantly undermining you in regards to players how can they develop a working relationship?

exactly. until Davis walks away the raiders will continue as a train wreck. take a long look at al davis today and you see jerry jones in 15-20 years.

Excuse me but how was I proven WRONG about anything yesterday?....I was just talking about how I thought Peterson would be a good hire for UT and you whined and moaned and cried like a baby that Kiffen was better...Ok fine, It was my opinion and I am entitled to it...But at least Peterson is a proven coach and Kiffen is about to get fired from his job so I guess that makes you look like a total and complete idiot now doesn't it?...Why even bother :ermm:

A man who os so far gone he can no longer see the negative implications of his running the team anymore.

Petersen has won one game I could give a crap about. He's proven nothing.

"At times we're playing as well as anybody in the league. I know that sounds strange for you guys to hear, but look at the numbers," Kiffin said in his news conference. "Look at the way we're playing in the first three quarters of the last three weeks in a row; we're playing good enough to be on a three-game winning streak. All that being said, we're 1-3."

ESPN - Source: Raiders owner Davis making moves to start process of replacing Kiffin - NFL

Sounds like a winner.

...claim at being closer to 3-1 than Kiffin!!! Come on, man, talk about rose colored glasses/kool aid, etc.

It is hard to fault a coach who is not allowed to pick his own staff and have the owner undermine his every decision.

I've watched the raiders play, as to CPF being closer to 3-1 ...ucla missed field goal, Iwatched the auburn game again last night, a number of opportunities to seize victory, missed and blown, that would have given the VOLS 2 more wins. The only game we were dominated was florida, and we were in the red zone at least three times with opportunities to score. Looking at those games (oaklands and UT's) I still think UT closer to 3-1 than Oakland. Just my opinion based on my observations. I don't have a dog in this fight either Kiffin or CPF...but it concerns me when coaches start talking "Ifs and buts" and I find it ironic some of us are willing to give Kiffin a bye on this when we are jumping all over CPF for the same type of "coach speak." Maybe Kiffin would be a great college coach but that can not, surely, be based on performance in nfl to date.:ermm:

I think the 76 yard FG attempt Sunday may have been the final straw.
