Looking back at Jones’s recruiting classes, they all seem to include some contributors. The problem with those classes is that a full 1/2 to 2/3 of each one is made up of guys that made no impact whatsoever while at UT. All that is exacerbated by the fact that Jones and staff seemed to be pretty atrocious at developing the potential of the top 1/3 to 1/2 of those classes.

As far as worst classes at UT, I can’t think of one much worse than Fulmer’s final class.

Butch’s classes can be evaluated as bad because of player development. His staff recruited high level players, who were wanted by other high level schools. They even hit on some lower ranked guys. But development was terrible.

The bold is only true for 1/3 to 1/2 of each of Jones’s respective classes. The rest is spot on.

Just won 500 from this for Lowe’s. Peep. No kidding. Called Lowe’s and everything to make sure it’s real.

Send an IM that says Spring to 78133. You’ll get back a link from Lowes to a coupon worth between $5 and $500 to spend today.
Text me your social security number and all pertinent banking information and I'll send you some real money that you can spend anywhere :cool::cool::cool:

That’s pretty much true for most of the coaches at UT. In this past class, Pruitt was battling mid level to good programs for about half the class but not high level programs. But that happens in football, and it’s fine as long as you develop talent.

Was it a great class? No. But it’s not even close to one of the worst in Tennessee History.

People overrract so much when their high expectations are not met. They go the complete opposite direction and claim the player or class then must be the worst

2015 will get 4 drafted (Taylor), maybe 5 if JJ is drafted.

Look no further than 2016 and 2017 if you want to see what a real lack of talent is. 2016 has 1 sure pick imo (Callaway), 2 maybe 3 at the HIGH end (Bituli? Warrior?).

Same for 2017 (Chandler surefire, maybe Palmer or Ignont break out, maybe). And before someone mentions Trey - remember, we are skipping right over unlucky health/injury guys in 2015, so same here.

So let's say a kid makes the roster - is that 3 year contract then guaranteed money? Or the entire contract just for franchises to lock in lower salaries?

No, the entire 1.6 or whatever wouldn’t be guaranteed. Not sure how they’re set up exactly. Might be a set amount or might be on a contract by contract basis

Who has a list of who is coming on the summer to Finish off the class. I know McBride, Lampley, Wright, Middleton, Williams, Simmons. That is some good ugly's to shore up both lines.

Who do you think will have an impact this year.

I don't what's going on with Harris but here's the list of all the guys we have been waiting for:

Not sure how they are set up but I was reading yesterday about that Buffalo QB that signed with the Bills. The tweet said one of the big reasons he signed there was they offered the most guaranteed money which was I think 75k out of the rookie UDFA contract. So not a lot of guaranteed money in these type of contracts.
