This seems like it is just Act II of Part II! Can anyone correctly pronounce or spell DejaVu? All over again!

As I mentioned previously, dropping from consideration is often the response from being alerted you won't be hired.
He decided to stay in Johnson City, says he has unfinished business to do. Also hearing reports that he may have heard something's he didn't necessarily agree with during the process that led to his withdrawal. Just hearsay so take it for what it's worth.

From a woman's perspective, those shoes are so wrong for that outfit. In all seriousness I have no clue what a chancellor does or what it means for the program. Enlighten me please?

As I understand it, the UT president (currently Randy Boyd) is the head of the entire statewide system, which includes UT-K, UT-Chattanooga, UT-Martin, etc. Each campus, in turn, has its own "chancellor," who is like that campus's CEO. It affects the program in that the chancellor is responsible for hiring the athletic director, and can influence coaching hires.

And I would rather that she know “what a chancellor does” much more than “those shoes are so wrong for that outfit.” Nitpick much?

As with every UT hire, let’s give her a fair chance. And, she should be judged by much, much more than “the [football] program.” She has an AD for that.

Red and black outfit. Colors for Communist and anarchist movement. Perfect.

That was her official photo from Nebraska when she was hired there. She spent several years at UT and was well liked by those that worked with and under her.

Obviously a wait and see approach, but athletics seems very happy with this move. The preference would have been Nolan, but he seems to be gunning for the president’s job when that comes up next year. He dropped out when he was told that if he took the job as chancellor, he could not be considered for the presidency when Boyd gives up the interim title.

I read an article today saying only 30% of high school grads in the US are reading on a 12th grade level and only 27% can do math on a 12 th grade level. Yet we are graduating on an 80% level.
So when they get to college instead of teaching useful job and life skills, colleges have started focusing on teaching diversity classes.

Tennessee remains uncommitted to greatness as this hire proves. Just when I thought they were about to turn the corner, they hire another hater of athletics. Gonna be a long century.

Why do you think she’s a hater of athletics?

Before you start an unnecessary riot, to me that tweet just reads that she led the management department at the UT business school which just so happens to be named Haslam Business school. Doesn’t necessarily mean that she has ties to Haslam
Pending investigation...

And ftr? Riots are never “unnecessary” on here! 😉

That helps.

Not surprising. I assume each candidate was clearly told they were puppets doing as they are instructed. Just another way of informing candidates they are out.

let's see. be heralded as king **** of turd mountain, and have a legacy. or be Jimmy's lapdog, in and out in 2 years; with nothing to show?
I strongly suspect his decision, at least in part, is due to the federal lawsuit naming ETSU and Ballad health as co-defendants in the recent charges.
