Yeah, my wife and I moved here in 2016. The neighborhood has already changed a lot since then. It's a cool area. Tempted to stay long term but ultimately we want to get back to TN.

My fiancee and I will be living here in Charlotte once we get married. But, like you and your life we plan to move back to Knoxville as that is where both of our families live. Would definitely help with kids.

Went up there to a Lifeway, once. Got the book I used to propose to my fiancee to there. lol we live on the exact opposite part from each other.
i hear ya. when i lived in Meyers park/dilworth i never ventured up this way either...no reason to. there's not much up here for single people or couples w/out kids. it's the 'burbs.....

He is not associated with me. I think I misunderstood @Big Gucci Sosa the other day when he mentioned that. Gucci had ripped me on an edit that I made for my prediction page one time (I am no graphic designer clearly) when he referenced paint guy the other day. I thought he was talking about that edit Not Volnation recruiting whatever he is. I did let him make predictions on my 2019 page because his retweets do have some reach. But no association other than that. And he likely won’t be making any on the 2020 page. I keep it more professional than the cussing on twitter and bashing other fan bases. I run a free service to bring positive light to recruits during an important time in their life. Also, while I have your attention 2021 Tight End Nick Elksnis is a name to know in the near future.
Vols just offered

I hear the lake is really nice an there is a huge bike trail I would like to ride up there one day. It's at least an hour away though and I have a few within 10 miles of my apartment so I usually just pick those. Nice area though.

Ugh. I've been a loyal Dolphins fan for nearly half a century and it's a ****ing hard thing to do. The consistent mediocrity just wears you down.

That said, here was a funny celebration of mediocrity: I went to see the Dolphins play the Rams at the Coliseum a couple years ago and, as is typical for an LA sporting event, the visiting team was well-represented, so lots of Dolphins jerseys. But the guy in front of me had this one on:

Who the hell ever bought one of those? I had to give him props for that. He said he always got good feedback from it.
Fiedler.. Lord have mercy. Dude is careless with money. I have a Ricky William's one. But he is my favorite player of all time.

Basically we how we feel. We met in Nashville and lived there for 6 years or so (I was in Middle TN for a decade). LOVE that city but it's too expensive. Chattanooga is probably our ultimate landing spot. Growing city that isn't absurdly priced yet and close to my family.

It's spread out though compared to others. You couldn't pay me enough to live in New York or anywhere close.

That's one thing I dislike about Charlotte. I'm big on walking and you kinda have to stick to your own neighborhood. I can't easily walk from PM to Noda or South End or Uptown. I lived in midtown Nashville for 5 years and loved having easy access to Elliston, Hillsboro Village, Belmont area, downtown, all of the midtown bars, Centennial Park, etc., on foot.

Would love to a smaller sized city. Maybe one day.

You have a data cap on your home internet?
Yep. Rural area in Jefferson County.
Nothing but satellite and DSL from At&t. Utility company has been "going to" install fiber for roughly 4 years so far. They're not even close to actually starting.

Was approved a while back, extremely frustrating but utilities are a necessary monopoly so...

Yeah, I get the accessibility part. Sometimes I don't want to drive to the place and would rather walk. I've thought about riding my bike to places, but then I have to ride on the road and I dunno if I wanna be that guy lol.
