That's why the media spiced up the B&C stories at the time and the entertainment industry has continued to do so.The entire story, they're talking about how dangerous, strapped, and wild Bonnie and Clyde are, but they catch them by ambush and it's a quick scene.
I admit I don't know a whole lot about Bonnie and Clyde, outside of them just being a culture reference. I just expected more based on how the movie built up.

While it's always important to know the truth, the truth doesn't always make for great entertainment.
When I want more accurate accounts, I watch the History Channel. (though not always accurate)
When I want entertainment, I watch Inglorious Basterds.
Going to catch Avengers Endgame tomorrow night. I’m prepared to be emotionally wrecked, and I’m fully aware how silly that is for a collection of actors telling a fake story, and it makes no difference to me.
Thoughts and prayers please
I don't think the show sucks, but I agree that the books are way, way, way better.
I don't care about that move, but I guess I have to see it before Avengers End Game
