Wrong...That was beautifully done. I know a lot of great characters, characters I have spent over a decade with are doomed and will not live past the next episode. I don't understand why folks like you are so impatient and can't wait to get it over with, it is all death, blood, guts and darkness from here on out. I thought this was done perfectly...I feel exactly like I did before the battles of Helms Deep and Minas Tirith.Worse than last week

As Gandalf said best to pippin about waiting for the battle.."It is the deep breath before the plunge"
Now I'm sad, I doubt what happens the rest of this series is in anyway going to please me. Martin, Dan and DB have told us from the beginning.."If you think this has a happy ending...then you haven't been paying attention"
I'm not a nihilist. I do enjoy a well told story though, I just hope this one doesn't let me down to badly.
Why...really? How long do you think it's gonna take to kill off everybody? Two giant battles...two episodes...then freakin what? What did you guys expect? Five feature length battle sequence episodes?I was fine with the first episode setting up the action. That is standard, even smart. A second one in a season with only 6 episodes seems...odd.
