He had more. He had a republican congress for most of those years. Close your eyes and imagine Mueller (as biased as Barr) with a democratic congress for YEARS.

😂 I can honestly say that can’t recall ever meeting more loyal liberal than you luther . I grew up in a family and community of liberals , worked 15 years in a union full of liberals and you my friend would be voted their liberal leader and one most likely to take one for the team , hands down . Lol

Thanks....I'm humbled. I recognized immediately that the left was vastly under-represented on the PF, understanding the importance of balance, I dove straight in. Just doing my part.

Before the redhats wake up, I have a question: suppose the House does impeach Trump, Can the Republicans in the Senate publically dismiss all the evidence and testimony that would come up in a public setting and is it even possible for Trump not to lie during the proceedings?

The left doesn’t have the senate , the Rs will not vote to impeach its own party’s leader . It’s a huge gamble for the left just like it was for the Rs with Clinton .

I believe you but how do you think it will play out in the 2020 Senate election? I really think doing so would be political suicide for some R's up for re-election.

I don’t think it would matter , why would it ? Everyone is already galvanized so they probably wouldn’t lose that many votes .

My guess is too much that would hurt the DIMs would come out during the Senate hearing. They don't want that but it's all going to come out anyway. Just a matter of time. But to answer the question, a hearing would proceed and a vote to convict or not would be taken.
