pretty easy when you go long enough to get the benefits of feeling great all the time. Also, since when was cooking everything in butter or olive oil or eating as much bacon as you want become a hard diet? lol
I don't eat as much fat as others. It is a kind of Atkins/Keto/Paleo hybrid that works for me.

I've improvised pretty good. Even fast-food. I ate a double whopper with cheese today, in a box. I've eaten Arby's beef and cheddar in a bowl as well as the French dip. Hardees does good with their low carb. I was surprised how easy it was for me to adapt.
I started going to the grocery store the day I get in town and buy all my meals. Easy way manage what I eat and remove temptation from the equation.

It does. But the way I look at it, the way I was eating, I wouldn't be able to wear them anyway, but because I was gaining weight. So I'd much rather it be because I've lost so much. I'm going to see if I can get them taken in. We'll see.

40 pounds is a lot. You can take the pants in some, but the pockets become ackward and close together if you take in too much.

I think this still goes back to Hamilton. I know he hired Bruce, but he still may have been the worst AD we have ever had.
I agree..If he had hired the right coach, we may not have had great success, but I don't think we would have suffered the decade of humiliating embarrasement that we have.

KETO is stupid. Lmk how long you sustain dat der life

I think it's the most sustainable diet for weight loss and weight management. Once you really get rolling with it you don't even feel hungry like you do with caloric restriction diets. Eating less tends to happen naturally because you're forced to eat foods that keep you full for longer.

I started eating right and working out 2 years ago.

Only did cardio for 6 months - then added in weights.

Lost 60lbs the first year.

Then started focusing on building my body.

2 months of building - heavy lifting and lots of protein, carbs and fats. 185g of protein, 285g of carbs and 70g of fats - and over 2800 calories

Then 1 month of cutting - lighter lifting and more HIIT training. 145g of protein, 60g of carbs and 50g of fats. Under 1500 calories.

I have now gained back 10lbs of muscle and feel great. I am the strongest I have ever been and love my new lifestyle - been going on 2 years now.

I'm surprised more people arent talking about the Kongbo interview on the Athletic. I know it's mostly a confirmation of what we all have heard over the last few years of Butch's reign, but it's interesting to here it from someone that was there.

Interesting quote:

How did players feel about how Butch was running the program?

Players, we loved Butch. We loved him. It was just, he was a good players’ coach. OK, how do I say this? Tennessee, it was fun to be there and go to school there. But as far as the football side, it was lacking. It was just lacking, man.
