Mueller Report Imminent

Mueller also makes clear Congress can continue to investigate Trump.

"With respect to whether the President can be found to have obstructed justice by exercising his powers under Article II of the Constitution, we concluded that Congress has the authority to prohibit a President's corrupt use of his authority in order to protect the integrity of the administration of justice."

He has no role in whether or not the "can continue" - it is there right to do so if they wish.

The quote you've used I assume refers to the firing of Comey (the reference to exercising his powers). It is not a quote linked to his summary of his look into obstruction (the other quote you used).

Trump called former White House lawyer Don McGahn at home and directed him to call the acting attorney general and say Mueller "had conflicts of interest and must be removed."
McGahn declined to do so, deciding that he would "rather resign than trigger what he regarded as a potential Saturday Night Massacre."

That, my friends, is obstruction. It is at least attempted obstruction.

Article I of Impeachment, right here.

Nope. It is not. How did he change anything.

If that's true do you think they'll consider cancelling that? If they want to drag this out through the next election, they don't need Mueller up there shooting holes in them in front of Congress.

Too many have already come out demanding his testimony and I can think of no one saying he shouldn't. No way to back out now.

Special counsel Robert Mueller's investigation into possible obstruction of justice could not clear President Donald Trump, stating the President's actions and intent "presents difficult issues that prevent us from conclusively determining that no criminal conduct occurred," according to a redacted version of the special counsel's report released Thursday.
If that doesn’t cause you deep concern about the process you’re an idiot.
That is not how the legal system works. This is a manipulative way of saying “we could not determine that criminal conduct occurred.”

He called McGahn at home to get him to fire Mueller. McGahn refused as it would have dragged him into another Watergate situation.

That is pure attempted obstruction of justice.

Can you point me to the spot in the Federal Penal Code that deals with "attempted obstruction"? Not saying it doesn't exist, but a quick search didn't yield anything.

It means he's guilty.....It's Trump. He knew he was guilty. He even stated his presidency was over.
Or he knew that the Deep State would do anything it could to bring him down. He knows how powerful the government is.

"The President's efforts to influence the investigation were mostly unsuccessful, but that is largely because the persons who surrounded the President declined to carry out orders or accede to his requests," the report said.

In May 2017, after President Trump learned from then-Attorney General Jeff Sessions that Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein had appointed special counsel Robert Mueller, Trump “slumped back in his chair and said, ‘Oh my God. This is terrible. This is the end of my Presidency. I'm f***ed.’”

You want to finish the rest of that paragraph

"Taking into account the high burden to establish a culpable mental state in a campaign-finance prosecution and the difficulty in establishing the required valuation, the Office decided not to pursue criminal campaign-finance charges against Trump Jr. or other campaign officials for the events culminating in the June 9 meeting." Mueller's team explained, "The Office ultimately concluded that, even if the principal legal questions were resolved favorably to the government, a prosecution would encounter difficulties proving that Campaign officials or individuals connected to the Campaign willfully violated the law."

If impeachment is pursued it outweighs any negative info here.

The smart move by Dems would be to drag this out for the next 2 years but they do not have control of their most rogue members nor the patience in general.

Almost all of the 10 obstruction items were already publicly known - they were baked into his current situation.

The big question COLLUSION has been put to bed. There is no equivocation in the report.

Not suggesting impeachment is the best move. Just that Barr being perceived as Trump's personal attorney has hurt him to the point that it probably doesn't matter, regardless.

Plenty of tender vittles in the report.

He can only be elected by the people who choose to pull the lever by his name. No one else.
But the rights propaganda machine is what you screech daily about , I’m telling you not laying off this ( just like the Rs did with Clinton ) will get him re-elected , Americans love an underdog and a folk hero and the left is making him into both , throw in the economy and your once in a 300 year theory will get shot to hell .
