Minutes after Attorney General William Barr walked off-stage at the end of his Mueller report, in which he openly and preemptively spun away President Trump’s actions, Fox News anchor Chris Wallace blasted Barr’s performance and claimed he was acting more as the president’s personal counselor than the nation’s attorney general.

Wallace, meanwhile, pointed out right away that Barr is obviously someone the president appointed as attorney general because he was looking for to protect him “from getting in trouble,” adding that Trump was obviously frustrated by Jeff Sessions in that role.

“I suspect that the president was pretty pleased with the performance of Bill Barr today and particularly on the issue of obstruction,” Wallace stated. “Because again, on collusion, it does appear and I will say that the attorney general said it about a half dozen times, I lost count after that, there was no collusion, there was no cooperation, there was no coordination.”
On the issue of obstruction, the Fox News anchor noted there were ten instances in which the special counsel said it could have raised to the possibility of a crime, and it was here that Barr acted as the president’s defense lawyer.
“You got into this very curious area where the attorney general seemed almost to be acting as the counselor for the defense, the counselor for the president rather than the attorney general,” Wallace declared. “Talking about his motives. Talking about his anger, his feeling this was unfair and there were leaks. And really, as I say, making a case for the president.”

Trump is just seeing all these Obstruction Arguments being used against him. Once the table is turned on the Obummer Admin for much worse and with even way more damning evidence, what will the DIMs say then? It's coming folks and the DIMs words will be pointed right back at them.

If that's true do you think they'll consider cancelling that? If they want to drag this out through the next election, they don't need Mueller up there shooting holes in them in front of Congress.

Mueller also makes clear Congress can continue to investigate Trump.


"With respect to whether the President can be found to have obstructed justice by exercising his powers under Article II of the Constitution, we concluded that Congress has the authority to prohibit a President's corrupt use of his authority in order to protect the integrity of the administration of justice."

The Dems do need to get their act together, but Trump is very weak now. He cannot sneak up on anyone and he'll have had four years to further prove his douchebag quotient and to alienate the middle, even parts of the more traditional GOP.

Special counsel Robert Mueller's investigation into possible obstruction of justice could not clear President Donald Trump, stating the President's actions and intent "presents difficult issues that prevent us from conclusively determining that no criminal conduct occurred," according to a redacted version of the special counsel's report released Thursday.

You're right but I think it'd have been just as moving and only slightly more transparent if Kellyanne Conway read the statement with Juliani and Hannity standing behind her.

bolded says - we cannot conclusively say he's innocent. think about what that means in our criminal justice system. is that the standard you'd like to be judged on?

The report could've been one sentence that said "we found no collusion." It was/is all fake.


As for your comment, it's laughable. Look at all the Democratic FBI officials caught in this. Look at the raid that Comey alerted CNN. Look at the Jussie smollet case. On and on.

It means he's guilty.....It's Trump. He knew he was guilty. He even stated his presidency was over.
