The smart move by Dems would be to drag this out for the next 2 years but they do not have control of their most rogue members nor the patience in general.

Almost all of the 10 obstruction items were already publicly known - they were baked into his current situation.

The big question COLLUSION has been put to bed. There is no equivocation in the report.

Trump was exonerated on Collusion charges by Mueller. Mueller says he's not exonerated on obstruction but he's not sufficiently guilty to bring any charges. The DOJ has determined no crime of obstruction occurred and they are the legal authority to make such determination.

The political side is yet to be written and Congress can choose to seek impeachment but that is distinct from the criminal investigation which is over with no charges on collusion or obstruction.

Mueller doesn't say that there's evidence of collusion, but not enough to merit charges. It says there is no evidence of collusion.

I've been wondering if I'm missing something. This is from LG's direct post:

"Although the investigation established that the Russian government perceived it would benefit from a Trump presidency and worked to secure that outcome, and that the campaign expected it would benefit electorally from information stolen and released through Russian efforts, the investigation did not establish that members of the Trump campaign conspired or coordinated with the Russian government in the election interference activities," the report said.

I'm not sure how much more plainly can it be said? They didn't find any collusion. Not sure what they're trying to angle at here?
