Honestly , what's the big deal? If he wanted UCLA over tennessee so bad , buyout or not, he would be there. He chose to stay here..... regardless of the buyout, he made to decision to stay here. If he didnt like it here , he would be gone.. it's not that hard people...

So I've updated my starting lineups post spring practice. Both sides of the ball now have players average age at 20 years old. The talent average on offense is 0.9294 and on defense it's 0.9284.

Wasn't his decision. UCLA couldn't negotiate down the buyout with us (this is my best understanding of the situation). It sounds like, by all means, had it been up to Barnes he would have been there. But he's not, it's in the past, and GBMFO.

Solomon and Gibbs were officially reranked by 247. I do like their idea. For instance, Richmond as a transfer ain't no 97 like he was out of HS. Same for Gibbs.

I'm not sure about Kennedy. We moved Carvin to center so we'd have a #2 center for the spring game. I think Carvin has a starting spot with the 1's just as he had for much of spring practice, which by all reports is when the offense was performing at it's best. jmo.

I thought Locklear was #2 center and Carvin #2 RG during the spring game

Barnes quotes were still unnecessary and will be used against him in recruiting. Just served it up to other coaches on a silver platter. Not as bad, but similar to spurrier saying he was going to retire in “2 or 3 years”

This is probably the best reason to be upset by this, but I'm still glad he's our coach over any realistic alternative.
