FWIW, 67 on 132 slope rated course. Normally shoot 70-76. Pre-winter handicap index of 3.8.

With all due respect, golf is the greatest and hardest game to play on the planet. College football is the greatest to watch.

Way behind and will catch up shortly, as I didn’t want to check this thread until I got home after church and birthday lunch to watch The Masters. I was pretty spot on. Tiger’s ballstriking won the tournament. He still missed a lot of makeable putts today, but his iron game won him the tournament. That iron game was the Tiger of old. If he had made half of his misses from inside 10 feet, he would have won going away by 6-7 strokes at least.

Unreal comeback for him from barely being able to walk with a nerve block 2 years ago to winning today. Cool moment with his kids too. That’s the most prolonged emotion he has ever shown. Pretty cool to watch it unfold.

I'm sure he's the only player on the tour who has been unfaithful. I am not condoning his behavior, but if you're using that as the sole basis to decide who to root against, your pool of players is a lot larger than just Tiger.

Paraphrasing Ron White, some people only have 1 chance in their lives to be unfaithful and they fail. Tiger Woods had 80,000 chances to be unfaithful and failed 15 times. By the percentages, he’s the faithful one.

Look, I do not condone anything he did, but when you have the fame and money he has, you can have pretty much anything you want - without much effort at all. It is easy to say that we wouldn't act like him, but the truth is that most would give in to something that other people do not even have access to. It is not like he was stuck in one city with his family.

I think most people who hate him probably subconsciously are simply envious of him. If that is not you, then more power to you.

I do not practice a lot of things. I don't drink or smoke or go out on my wife. Most people on this board would think I am old-fashioned (just ask the pot smoking crowd), but I am not delusional. His amount money and fame would make it hard for anyone to stay on the straight and narrow. That is my opinion. If you do not agree with it, that is OK. I choose to forgive his past, and enjoy his golf game. That is not the same as condoning the behavior.

By the way, do any of you Tiger haters want to Bring Back Bruce? If so, isn't that a bit hypocritical?
