Seems like quite the stretch. Clemson lost A HELL of a DL. Comes down to coordinators for Bama imo. Dabo has 5th, 6th, etc year coords working together due to the culture he's built there. Saban's mercenary culture may just be his downfall (however slight) after all.

If Saban can't win a natty in 3 years, lose Tua, at his age, with UGA and Clemson matching him in recruiting, he may well hang it up. But I sure as hell want us to play a part in it.

Coaching turnover was one of his major concerns.

3. I think Mr Pruitt may be pissed at attendance today, and I wouldn’t blame him

I really like CJP, but I am not sure I understand the frustration with attendance at a spring game. We should have 50k there in a normal spring game.

But UT football is a state event, and there are only 6-7 meaningful ones a year. People spend the time and money to go then. There are many UT fans who attend fall games who are 4+ hours away. It’s not like Alabama where many fans are 3 hours or less away.

I now understand what it’s like to root for a blue blood school and hearing about how others complain about the media coverage. I have said it before. I used to be a huge golfer. Kids and family obligations have changed that but still watch. I was 17 years old when Tiger annihilated Augusta. I grew up watching him, and I just find golf much more exciting when he plays. He’s a top 3 all-time golfer. I would never condone his actions, but I can get past his transgressions and be entertained at his play.

I know some disagree, but golf is different without Tiger. I like some of the good young players, but I just find myself not as interested if Tiger isn’t involved, and I love golf. So, I can imagine it’s the same for people who don’t really play.

If have played real golf maybe 6 or 7 times in my life. So, nowhere near an avid golfer.

I seldom watch golf on TV, maybe twice a year. However, when Tiger is playing, I will at least catch up on the leader board, if not watch him play. I think we just all want to see "history" in the making. There just seems to always be a fascinating story line with him playing.

That was true before all the troubling news about him, and it is true now. I am quite sure that he is far from the only millionaire in sports who has done similar things. I am not condoning his actions, but just acknowledging his humanity, while appreciating his golf greatness.
