Not if he's the only played to touch the ball

Takesies Backsies, Rish. I've never heard of that call before just like Anthony. News to me, sucks for Auburn HAHAHAHA

NCAA and its officiating is so corrupt. In a way that foul to end Auburn’s season is kind of fitting. Remember the game in the SEC tourney they beat Florida after mauling the shooter at end of the game? The screw job came back around to them. Unfortunately, it just seems all Tennessee can get is the continual screw job coming around, and it never goes the opposite way.

Not collusion screwjobs, just bad officiating...human nature! Same as in nfl, nba, cfb. People complain everywhere, every sport. Lets just face the facts - humans suck at perceiving breakneck actions. Robots are our only hope. Anyone saying otherwise is either naive or has extreme anthropo-hubris.

but tbh 1st sport that needs help is baseball! how easy would it be to decide balls and strikes with sensor tech??

I knew the rule but didn’t catch it when it happened... I assume most people didn’t until it was brought up. Those plays are rare, in fact I’m not sure if I’ve even seen one called like that

You're wrong on this one. No defensive player touched it so he could not resume his dribble after he picked it up.

already corrected myself. Who knew?? Was never a rec ball or HS rule. Even the announcer had never heard of such a thing. Weird rule!

$20 says the refs stopped reading at rule 19.02.3.5 and totally missed 19.02.3.6!! basic bi*** refs iyam

THOUGH NOW I SEE WHY AUBURN DIDNT GET SCREWED - DOUBLE NO CALL. WATCH IN SLO MO AND UVA FOULS HIM PRIOR TO THE DOUBLE DRIBBLE WHICH THEY DIDNT CALL. DOUBLE DRIBBLE NEVER SHOULD HAVE HAPPENED. NORMAL FOUL. SAME ENDING. HAHHHHH! SUCK IT AUBURN YOU LOST FAIR AND SQUARE

It’s easier to blame the refs in losses and make excuses. Nobody will talk about Harper missing a FT at the end, or the AWFUL choice to foul with 2 seconds left at mid court after he lost control of the ball. 1 call, 1 3 second play doesn’t determine a 40 minute game. Nobody would be complaining about this had it happened in the first half. It hurts a lot more when it’s in the closing seconds tho

NO AUBURN WAS FOULED BEFORE THAT! They keep showing the opposite angle.
Nah, the foul they called was after that, when Brown(?) intentionally touched his hip with 1.5 seconds. Had it been before that there would have been like 3.5/4 seconds left

EXACTLY. THEY MISSED THE CALL AT 4 SECONDS. LOOK AT IT. BLATANTLY OBVIOUS MISSED CALL!!!

No idea tbh. Ever since this started, my doctor, both my specialists and my surgeon have all said the same "If everything else fails, there's a specialists'-specialist in SC that deals with the most extreme cases".

Of course they also told me it wasn't likely to go that far, too "rare".
I'm just lucky like that I guess 😎
Mmmm

YES not only that but people will talk ad infinitum about a missed call with 5 secs left when the missed call with 35 minutes left was just as important. Human perception leads to gross biases of weighting importance due to timing.

South Slope brewing district is loud tonight and makin me giddy to watch Auburn lose with the door popped open over my balcony above the Funkatorium and Catawba. Must be uva fans tonight roaming in Asheville, or just the typical 30-party bachelorette party.... but idc what the screaming is about, fuzz the Barners!!! :p:p
