Couldn’t blame Locklear. He seems to be sinking further and further down the rotation. Tatum’s an interesting conundrum. If he redshirts, it doesn’t look promising to GAIN minutes the more talent we bring in. If he doesn’t and barely plays, that’s eligibility burning. Spring and summer might make his decision after Wright enrolls.

Does that really happen much anymore? Where the long time assistant takes over after retiring HC. Obviously holly but I’m blanking on others.

Yeah it usually feels like more fan theory than reality. Ryan Day is one example I can think of. But a lot of times it feels like the "oc in waiting" concept...probably never gonna happen.

Well hate seeing Lainer go but the best of luck for him and his family and thank you for the best 4 years we have had in a long time. Can't wait to see who CB hires to replace him.
Probably gonna just promote someone from his support staff. Already has him on staff and I believe his name is Leintz or something like that.

Not familiar with him. I figured he would go get an experienced one but maybe he doesn't need one and I am all for someone getting their shot.

Has someone said hes actually leaving or just rumor?
