Hope he's doing okay now, I've never felt pain anywhere close to this. Didn't even know it was possible.
Chronic starts out with good days and bad but in progression like mine, there's just not days that I don't hurt anymore. Unbelievable that anything can cause level 10 pain day after day, week after week etc..
I’m so sorry, and have been keeping up with your situation. I really don’t know how you do it. Really, don’t know how you and your family do it. You have given me inspiration in more ways than you know. I’ve lived in my world of constant pain and uncertainty for months now, waiting, but when I read your posts and the drive you have, it helps to push me (I’m sure it does for others).

My cousin got the stints in twice, but they didn't last long so she ended up having half of the pancreas removed. Still having problems. She did get to come home today after a 3 week hospital stay. Still has pain, but it's bearable with pain meds. I really hate it for you because I have seen how bad it is.

You know I'm always around if you just need an ear.
You've got our full support and are never alone. Times when I felt as if was but once I opened up here, well, "helped" is a huge understatement.

I'm here.
Procedure was unsuccessful and I'm just weak with a lot of pain and nausea. Will update as soon as I'm able.

Hate that no progress was made but so thankful for you guys..
It just helps more than most probably realize.
Sorry that the procedure didn't work Charger. Hang in there because there may be other options. You will continue to be on my prayer list.

I always enjoy my time on this site, whether it’s seeing the puffed up egos, the actual info sharing and of course, the caring in humanity. That’s a big reason I’m here. Thank you. I’m sorry this last procedure didn’t work, but, you know, I have faith as I know you do. God has his own time.

It nearly killed him both literally and pain-wise. It didn't help that it took him getting transferred to UT for them to find that his spleen was causing a lot of the problems. It took a long time to get him back to normal but he finally got to eat a Long John Silver's just the other day and was so proud of that. :D

With yours, the next procedure they do (assuming it's successful) will it at least ease some of the pain?

I just want to fix this for you or find a doctor who can, but I can’t. But what I can and will continue doing is to pray for you, your family, and all that you’re going through. I am praying for grace and a peace from God that surpasses anything fathomable.

Let us know when you need financial support. Surely there’s a bill from this last procedure that can be on the VN “house.”

You know what Stephen A. still won't do with his $10m per year..... put in any time to research or pay attention enough to have any idea what he is talking about. Luckily for him, being a pot stirrer in 2019 does not require you to have any idea what you are talking about. Kudos to him for finding his hole in the matrix that is 21st century capitalism. Tip of the cap sir.

I dont follow him very closely, but what does he do thats so wrong? I find hes an expert at basketball and a spitballer at other sports, which is why he tends to stick with the nba. Hes also quite socially conservative, the only thing I dont get about him. When he gets on social issues i just hit the snooze button...eazy peazy.

Interesting 247 discussion - what % of kids ever come fully back from young injuries? Kirkland, Kmac, tuttle, phillips, etc have all seemed to fail to ever return to full potential. Now we are staring at Toots, crouch, keyton, etc.

Is there any research on younger injuries vs older?

Soooooo many foods I would kill to have 1 bite of lol. And a high risk of complications from the trapped fluid. My understanding.

And yes. They believe much of the pain is from the swelling in the duct. With the entire outside of the pancreas hardened, there's just no room. Just constant pressure against nerves.

Brother, I'm praying the next treatment does the trick. I have only experienced what you're going through as a bystander but that was enough for me to understand how awful and painful it is. If there's anything I can do let me know, even if all you want is to bend an ear, I'm here for you.

This got me excited about Chaney in the War Room.
The buzz from last week’s scrimmage remains the play of the first-team offense and Jim Chaney’s ability to get the ball in the hands of playmakers in different ways — whether it was Josh Palmer out of the backfield catching a wheel route of a long touchdown or tailback Ty Chandler lining up out wide in both the slot and Z spots. It was just Chaney doing what he does, as one observer said.

Linebacker Daniel Bituli said the offense has challenged the defense in a big way all spring.

“The formations they are coming out with. Their schemes,” Bituli said. “The tempo they are practicing at. The offense sets the pace and they are doing a good job of that.”
