So they attempted to remove the calcified blockage at the end of the pancreas duct or install a stent, so removal could be done later. Both unsuccessful.
The sonic blasts to my abdomen appears to be a last hope.

Sidenote: surgeon asked if I needed to speak with a counselor for possible depression over the disappointing results.
I just smirked and said "nah, I can handle it. I'm a Vols fan"
So sorry, Brother. Still hoping and praying you get some relief.

I don't know why they think those will work, but if you get to pick your flavor, I would go with oreo or Reeses.

Posters on this board obsession with Wes Rucker is weird.
I agree. It's weird. There are so many places for Vols news that you can not follow him and still get all the news. But people would rather follow him and then just complain incessantly because Wes has a personality that they don't like. He is just being himself, which I admire. I find him funny at times and annoying at times....you know just like almost everybody else on the planet. But for some reason people just hang on everything he does that is 'different' than what they would do. Would help if people would grow up and either just accepted somebody for who they are or don't follow him in social media. Either of those options are much better than what we have to read on here constantly.

Sir, this is a Wendy’s

Such a strange condition (is that the right term?) that you've got, honestly the first I've heard of it. Seems like absolute agony, any sort of research outside the local market on it that could potentially help?

Will continue to keep you as well as all of Vol Nation that's going through trials in my thoughts and prayers.
Thanks bro.
"pancreatitis". I hear it way too often now. Even in new drug commercials "possible severe side effects including pancreatitis, which can be fatal".

Always a blast when trying to watch a movie with my family. My daughter starts to tear up but I tell her constantly, we got this.
Just wish it hadn't progressed so fast, think the relatively rapid decline is what shook them most.

Well i mean Wes is kinda weird.
He is. We typically use the word weird to describe people who are atypical and don't always adhere to social norms. That's certainly true. It's also ok. I interact with weird people all the time and it's not a big deal. Some of them are very interesting. Some not so much. But either way they are just being themselves. And personally I prefer to interact with somebody who is weird as opposed to somebody who is better about following social norms but is a glass half empty, whoa-is-me, always sensationalizes the negative, never see the positive, constant complainer.

And they wonder why they are losing subscribers by the hundreds of thousands per year...
You know what Stephen A. still won't do with his $10m per year..... put in any time to research or pay attention enough to have any idea what he is talking about. Luckily for him, being a pot stirrer in 2019 does not require you to have any idea what you are talking about. Kudos to him for finding his hole in the matrix that is 21st century capitalism. Tip of the cap sir.

I almost passed up this post because of the length but then I saw who wrote it. So glad I read it. I was raised by my dad and we had a special relationship, and the Big Orange (or should I say attending and watching games) was a large part of it. Thanks for bringing back great memories of him.

Doing it with my son now.

I think Cobb would be described today as a sociopath, a person with a personality disorder manifesting itself in extreme antisocial attitudes and behavior and a lack of conscience. Not to be confused with a psychopath or crazy person. A psychopath may snap and kill people. A crazy person may snap and kill people too, but they will be wearing a Donald Duck costume;)

Ty was rumored to have killed some people. He was a sociopath.

In 15 seasons at UTC Wes Moore won 12 conference titles and led The Mocs to the NCAA tournament 9 times. In 6 seasons at NC State he has led to 4 tournament appearances and back to back Sweet 16's. He's 498 and 170 in division one and 698 and 226 overall between division 1, 2 and 3.
Let me summarize that for some people; he's a damn good basketball coach. Would he be an elite recruiter? No idea but selling UT makes it possible. Bottom line is whatever players he does get will go into games with a great chance to out scheme and out execute the opposition. Man wouldn't that be nice to see for a change!

He’s no professional. He’s your drunk uncle who knows everything and gets way too loud at family cookouts. He drives in with his Dodge Ram, one of those old “Calvin peeing on something stickers on the back”, Kid Rock blaring through the open window, cooler of bud light in the passenger seat. He’s wearing an inappropriate t-shirt that somehow manages to make a cartoon figure into a sexualized object.

Seems like you took way more time to not have had a similar personal experience yourself.

Thanks bro.

My brother had pancreatitis about 2 years ago and was hospitalized for good while with it. He was lucky though that his was acute and caused by his spleen and very likely too much alcohol use. Even so, he was put on a vegan diet and couldn't eat anything non-vegan for a very long time without it setting him on fire. I hope things get better for you charger. I've seen firsthand how painful it can be.

Presley Hudson of Central Michigan had double digit consecutive three pointers in three straight rounds in a college 3 point shooting contest. She scored 23, 23,and 25 points out of a possible 30 and made 77 out of 100 in four rounds. Un. Be. Lievable. Really cool.

Hope he's doing okay now, I've never felt pain anywhere close to this. Didn't even know it was possible.
Chronic starts out with good days and bad but in progression like mine, there's just not days that I don't hurt anymore. Unbelievable that anything can cause level 10 pain day after day, week after week etc..
