We put in at Yellowjacket. Last Saturday we saw a boat hit a stump or floating piece of wood in the water (water is way down), and it ripped his outboard completely off the back of the boat. It’s in the bottom of the lake. His boat spun like a jet ski going in circles. He was lucky he or his 2 boys didn’t get thrown out of the boat.Used to go there some....launched way up river and learned to flip the standing tember up there. Caught several good fish. Can’t remember the launch but the name started with an “R” I think. Fished Yellowjacket Creek some as well. HOme of the “Do Nothing” technique.
