Mueller Report Imminent

“Imagine if the Starr Report had been provided only to President Clinton's Attorney General, Janet Reno, who then read it privately and published a 4-page letter based on her private reading stating her conclusion that President Clinton committed no crimes,” - USC Law Professor Orin Kerr

Come on Barr, what are you hiding? Just release the effing report.

Just think, if the special prosecutor law wasn't killed by Clinton the report would have gone to the 3 judge panel that appointed him.

No, but he knows what needs to be redacted and could discuss it with the AG before it is publicly released. Please remove your brain from your southern orifice.

They were in constant contact genius, Mueller worked for Barr or aren’t you familiar with the chain of command in the DOJ? You’re another butthurt lib who’s been lied to for the past two years by your media and you’re lashing out, I get it Sparky 😂

You are smoking crack rock. Mueller doesn't work for any of the intelligence agencies. They review for redactions; it isn't Barr who says what should and shouldn't and it isn't Mueller or RR or the SC office.

Not Mueller's job. That would be the DOJ's job.

DOJ does the redactions but the info on what needs to be redacted comes from the intelligence agencies (for national security issues).

DOJ decides about non-security related redactions such as testimony to Grand Jury and information about people they may have found but didn't result in charges being brought (eg. tangental information about someone like Page or Corsi or Don Jr etc.)

Good, redact what needs to be and release the report. It shouldn't take long. Barr was able to make a decision in only a few hours. He probably didn't even have time to read the entire report.

We've gone from the Trump Russia collusion conspiracy phase, now to the Trum / Barr conspiracy phase.

Need VolProf to start a new thread on that.

Barr was briefed 3 weeks ago, he had time to make a decision.

I think at 678 pages you might want to take a breath and let Barr do his job.

Barr didn't take a breath. He evidently read and digested 7-800 pages in a few hours and was able declare Trump and his family innocent. We should be able to also if that's what the report concludes.

We were told Friday the report has been released. Well it has not. Why should we trust Barr? Did you trust Reno or Holder?

EDIT: ^^^^^^ toldja ^^^^^^^

How’s that working out for you ? Lol . If I was a liberal , instead of demanding for it to come out , I’d be trying to keep it hidden . So far it’s been a really bad look for the left and the left leaning media .

Pretty sure most still believe some damning evidence against Trump is hidden in there.

I'm sure he already had the summary in his head having been read into most of the report for 3 weeks. The report first has to be released to him, he notifies Congress and Senate he has it, following 2 specific laws in the notification summary. Which he did. Mueller did not do anything improper and he was unhindered in his investigation. The SUMMARY gives basic findings.
The full report, by law, cannot disclose Subjects of investigation not indicted and classified information.
I have no doubt he will get it out as quickly as possible since he has done a stellar legally appropriate job so far.

The DEMs have to continue to deflect and project and he is buying it hook, line, and sinker.

I saw an article a couple days ago getting opinions from joe schmoes around the country. One of the democrats said that he trusted Mueller and he let him down. I think that’s probably a sentiment shared by a lot of democrats. Mueller was the white knight above reproach that was going to put the evil dictator in jail along with his whole family. Now reality is setting in and instead of being their hero Mueller is either in on it or incompetent. Because he didn’t find “the truth” when they all know what really happened. Even though he’s actually interviewed people they’ve never talked to and collected documents they’ve never seen and conducted an investigation for two years they weren’t a part of. They’ll never let this die. And now Robert De Niro has lost out on his SNL cameos. Sad all around.

Former first lady Barbara Bush didn't consider herself a Republican after Donald Trump took office, according to a forthcoming book obtained by USA Today about the matriarch of a GOP political dynasty.
"After Trump's rise, she saw it as a party she could not continue to support, a party she no longer recognized -- even as one of her grandsons, George P. Bush, was on the ballot as a Republican running for re-election as Texas land commissioner," author Susan Page wrote in an excerpt adapted from her new book, "The Matriarch: Barbara Bush and the Making of an American Dynasty." The excerpt was published Wednesday in USA Today.

Bush was so horrified by Trump's win that she kept a countdown clock, given to her by a friend, on her bedside table that showed the time remaining in Trump's term, Page notes.

I knew I liked that lady.

She was a classy First Lady, but is not even in the current American consciousness.
